This story takes places 2 years after Horde primes fall. This will be Catra's story, and this time Adora isn't around. Will she go to far? Will she find her redemption or will she slip back into her old ways
"My name is Merry and I am the leader of the new royal guard unit being trained to serve under Empress Catra. That is the official position but I'm also being trained as her successor. I honestly can say that it is a position I do not want, in fact I much prefer just being her daughter. I know I'm just her adopted daughter but I really love her. Because of this love I hated seeing my mother break down yesterday. It seemed when she was talking to Perfuma she forgot I was there. I don't blame her she has a lot to think about after all. But it does hurt seeing someone I love cry before me and not being able to do anything about it. It's just...I wasn't there during the painful parts of her life so I feel that it's not my place to give my opinion.
But I'm not giving up! Because what I can do is train with my team to help protect Catra in the future.
My team consists of a beast-kin named Ash who is a descended of the salamander bloodline. Her hair is red and when she gets angry it erupts into flames. Honestly I'm kinda jealous of her beautiful golden eyes. Although I could get by without her orangeish red skin.

Then there's Kal from the outer colonies. We don't know what Kal's race is but he's like a dark scaled lizard that has eyes running from his neck to his face. He also has tendrils that sprout from his back that he uses to attack others. Razor sharp teeth and long tail. His entire body is clad in jet black and grey carapace. He's the more monster looking out of all us but he's really kind.

Siren is also from the more recent conquered planets. From what I have learned is that his body is mostly made from a extremely dense kind of glass that is colored colored gold. He doesn't have a face but he talks to us telepathically. Apparently he tried attack Catra before using his mind but she was too strong and deflected whatever attack back at him. A It seems that it was a mind erase attack because he's completely forgotten everything about himself. So he was given to me and I'm glad he isn't our enemy. He can use telekinesis without relying on magic.
