~Faye’s POV~
I smiled as I sat down on my bed. Memories of the following day came back to me. That had to be the best day of my life.
After a long make out session we had decided to go out into the water. The soft sand at the bottom of the water seemed to sink as we stepped over it. I was afraid of sinking all the way so I had grabbed onto Grant the whole time. He loved having me on his back and I loved it as well.
Soon after we were starting to look like little raisins. Our skin was wrinkly from being in the water too much and Grant had picked me up and led us back to our spot. We ate the food he had prepared us before packing everything up and heading home. He had insisted on taking me home even though my car was still at the school. Once he had arrived at my house he had given me a breathtaking kiss before letting me go.
My mum’s yell from downstairs brought me back to reality. She was notifying me that dinner was ready. I wasn’t in the mood for eating right now but I knew I wasn’t going to get away with not eating.
I sulked down the stairs and into the kitchen. As I walked in the dining room the smell of lasagna wafted into my nostrils. Even though I wasn’t hungry my mouth still watered as I sat down. My dad came in soon after and sat down as well. The chair scraped the wooden floor as he pulled it back.
At this moment I wished I had another sibling. There really wasn’t someone else that I could tell my secrets about and fully trust. As well as someone to help me when I got in trouble around the house.
“Faye your mothers talking to you,” my dad said pulling me out of my thoughts.
“Sorry mum I didn’t hear you,” I said as my dad nodded pleased by my attitude. He always wanted me to be nice and respectful yet he was really never there for me ever.
“I asked you how your day went,” she gave me a wink when my dad wasn’t looking. My guess was that he didn’t know that I went with Grant today.
“It went really good actually. My day was full of surprises,” I said as a smile appeared on my lips as memories of yesterday came again. My dad looked at me suspiciously but I ignored it.
We finished the rest of our dinner in silence. The only sound was the scrape of our forks on the glass dishes. As soon as I finished I excused myself and up to my room. I checked my phone real fast only to find 11 missed calls. Some were from Charisma and others were from Amee. I called Charisma first since she had called more times.
“Faye! Thank god you called. Can you come over to Amee’s house? It’s an emergency!” Charisma’s voice sounded frantic as if she was scared.
“I’ll be right over,” I said and hung up. I ran downstairs and got the keys to my car. I cursed as I remembered my car was still at school. I grabbed my mum’s keys instead and ran to the front door. I couldn’t waste time on asking my mum to borrow her car right now.
I drove the car fast going over all the speed limits. I had to get to Amee’s house fast and find out what was happening. Once I got to her house I saw Alekk’s car in the driveway as well. Whatever the emergency was has to do with something we did I just knew it.
