Aloe

I watch from a high rock shelf, the feindish plan of my ex and his father roll out onto the paper. The man that claimed to be Stricker's father was young, like mine, and was probably in his mid-thirties. He was blond, tall, and muscular. I could see why Stricker's mother, Heather, had fallen for him. But my point here wasn't to admire my ex's dad, it was to find out what their plan of attack was going to be.

"Aloe!"I heard Toothless roar nearly silently to me."You need to get out of here. Hiccup plans on taking them by surprise!"

"I know,"I whisper back"but I'm not leaving. I know most of their plan, and I can use what I don't as a vantage point against them."I tell the desprite dragon beside me.

At this point, we can be heard, but we only speak in dragonese, so all Stricker and his dad heard was growling and roars."Make those stupid untamed dragons be quiet! I'm going insane and losing nessasary consintration!"Stricker complains."You think I can control them! Only a Bewilder Beast or one of the Deaths' can force a dragon to be quiet. And I'm not going to take the time to learn dragonse to silence a few annoying dragons you dislike!"His father chastises. In doing so, silencing Stricker.

The secret meeting concluded, allowing Tootless and I to escape from the cave. My dad had a small team that I rarely saw in the same place anymore. I change back to my human form, hitting my head on a rock as I did so.

"Ow!"I say, rubbing my head."Aloe!"I hear my sister's voice cry with joy."Wh... What happened to you? You have an awful cut all the way up your face? Here, I have some healing lubricant that'll help with the pain and speed the healing procese."She informs me. As she applies the slimy medicine to my wound, I tell her how I got it."I was flying, when I just suddenly started falling. I landed on a beach, and must hit something sharp on the way down."I tell her."What were you doing flying in the middle of the night?!!!! You know it's not safe!"She yells at me.

She sat down and apologized."I thought you knew."I whisper so quiet I'm almost unaudible."Knew what, Aloe?"She asks. I laugh in response, I wasn't laughing on perpuse, it just sort of came. I couldn't stop, I could barely breath.

"I'm a dragon!!"I say, still laughing so hard my side hurt, until I started filling sick, then I felt nothing but pain. I scream, It was unbearable.

"Aloe! What's wrong?! Aloe!"She screams, tears running down her face. I felt tear running down mine, too. I see our dad runnning toward us in the blurry distance. I was fighting whatever was doing this to me with every ounce of my very being."What happened?!"He asks Kate. I lose my grip in whatever fight I was fighting and fade into the blackness.

Hiccup

I watch Aloe's life fade infront of my very eyes. Poor ten-year old Kate's bawling her eyes out, clutching her sister to her."Why? She would've done so much good in the world!"She screams. I sit next to her, hugging her. I let one tear slip. Like when dad "died". But Aloe was really gone.

I feel the eyes of my friends on us, but I really don't care. What was Astrid going to think, what's she going to do when she finds out one of our daughters died, and we don't even know how? Just as I think of her, I hear stormfly. Kate looked like she let her die."Hiccup?"I hear her yell, almost blissfully. I look at Aloe one last time, before looking back."What's going on?"Astrid asks. I leave Kate, who's still clutching her sister, for her.

"Aloe... she was fine one minute and then... she screamed, and the next thing I know I.. I... I was watching her..."I couldn't finish. But from the look I was getting from Astrid, she got the messege."Kate's not taking it very well."I tell her.

We walk in the direction of our daughters when we hear another scream. But this scream was more of a squeel than a blood curdling scream. We run until we get to Kate, only to see she's gone. So is Aloe."She's alive!"

I hear the cheers of the others. A roar sounds, followed by the roars of our dragons.

A night fury with silver eyes lands, a blode girl on it's back.
