Ryomai stepped out of the sonic shower, "that is so strange getting clean without having to dry off." she called out to Maria but when Maria didn't answer her she threw on her clothes and came out into the common room to find Maria sitting in the middle of the floor with her eyes closed, "Be careful if you are going to attempt something like that!"

Maria turned her head and looked at Ryomai, "I am just going to reach out and see if I can understand what is going on in her head. Since the silence was lifted I have only felt vague emotion. I am not going to make direct contact."

"You said it yourself you haven't let anyone in since you were young. Your telepathy skill isn't all that strong." Ryomai muttered silently.

"My telepathy might not be but I have kept my telekinesis sharp. That is why I am going to try to drift closer to my subconscious where it has been stronger and use that instead of my conscious thought. You are one to speak however because I don't think you have any telepathic skill either but that would be the side effect of not having a family wouldn't it?" Maria said as she attempted to calm herself back down and relax.

"OK well I am going to sleep and I don't want to find you passed out tomorrow from something stupid." Ryomai shook her head. "If you do pass out I won't explain to the doctor why you did either. Remember that the only medical professional available is their doctor."

Maria nodded and closed her eyes anyway, "Good night Ryomai, I will see you in the morning."

Maria focused on the pulling emotions that grew within her as she brought her consciousness closer to her subconscious. She found Seven's thoughts but found that she couldn't get a clear look without making herself visible because Seven wasn't asleep. There was this electrifying feeling coursing around the thoughts and she realized this had to be the regeneration cycle that she had heard about. She pulled out realizing that she wouldn't be able to learn anything as Seven didn't appear to dream.

Climbing into the bed she closed her eyes and drifted into sleep and began dreaming of a normal routine on the Astro mega-ship. She piloted the ship and repaired a part of the engine. And training with a couple of her teammates."

In the cargo bay, Seven allowed her eyes to fly open as she pulled out of her alcove the computer chirruped, "Regeneration cycle incomplete." seven looked around her trying to identify the presence that she was feeling. But the cargo bay was empty and she was indeed alone.

Checking her alcove she reconnected and went back to regenerating. However, this time as soon as she closed her eyes she found herself standing on the deck of a ship for a second it didn't seem familiar but then she realized it was just Voyager. The lights were low and there didn't seem to be anyone around. She seemed alone but there was a presence with her.

The alarms of the ship went off calling a red alert and she ran to the bridge and threw herself in the pilot's seat. Everything seemed wrong during this sequence but she went through with it. Because while wrong it seemed natural. After the red alert was over she felt called to go to engineering where she replaced parts of the warp core and made it run more efficiently. She then walked into the gym and began to train with Lt. Torres and Ensign Kim in a form of hand-to-hand combat.

Seven entered the mess hall to find Icheb already there sitting with Ryomai and Maria. The tables had returned to their normal placements and the music was no longer playing. Going to the replicator she replicated her normal nutrition supplement.

Seven went to sit at a table by the bulkhead to drink the supplement. Tom wandered over and sat down, "Seven you look awful."

Seven glared at him, "My regeneration cycle was broken up by what I believe to be dreams. They were pleasant but unsettling at the same time."
