At the walls of Minas Tirith I left her, there were many tears in our eyes as we shared one last kiss before she mounted on Raindrop. She leant down and placed a hand around my neck.
"A promise?" She breathed into me ear. "You will come to me soon?"
"As soon as my task is done." I replied. She nodded and bit her lip.
"Goodbye my love." I said.
"Goodbye Legolas." She replied and began to ride of with the other elves where the last ship would take her away.
