My mom walked into the kitchen. "Guys, you might want to pack up your stuff. We're leaving in a few hours."

My heart sank. I kept pushing off the fact that this was the last time I'd see Tommy for a while. I looked over at him, who looked like he was thinking the same thing. I slowly stood up and got to my room. I absentmindedly picked up my clothes and shoved them into my suitcase. I carefully picked up my dress and smiled at it, remembering the night I wore it. I gingerly folded it and placed it in the suitcase. I got all my bathroom stuff and put it in a bag. I took them downstairs and placed it by the door. We did some cleaning. We ate a light dinner before heading to the airport.

My feet felt like lead as they walked through the airport and to the terminal. We almost had to go. Tommy pulled me aside.

"I don't want you to go," he said.

"I don't want to leave," I replied.

"Couldn't you just stay here for another week?" he asked.

"I wish I could, but I have school and stuff," I shrugged sadly.

"We'll still call each other, right?" he asked.

I hit him. "Of course. Why wouldn't I?"

He smiled. "We could make videos together."

"That would be fun," I agreed.

I checked my phone. "We have to be on the plane in five minutes."

Both of our faces fell. I stepped closer and we hugged. I felt myself start crying into his shirt. We stepped away from each other.

"Are you crying?" he asked, looking down.

"No," I said, sniffing.

He wiped a tear that was still running down my face.

"Stop it. Now you're going to make me cry, he said, his voice breaking.

I laughed through my tears.

"I didn't know big man Tommy could cry."

"I usually don't," he said. wiping away his tears.

"Two more minutes!" My mom called to us.

"I'm already excited for the next time I get to see you," I said.

He nodded in agreement.

"I think I have to go now. I'll miss you a lot. Facetime me or we're going to have a problem," I said, waving at him.

He laughed. "I wouldn't forget to do that for my life."

I gave him a quick hug and started walking to the terminal.

"Hold on!" he called. "You forgot something!"

I turned around and ran to him.

"What did I forget?"

"Our tradition. Remember?"

I gave him a confused look.

He shook his head and grabbed my wrist to pull me closer. We kissed.

"Now do you remember?" he asked.

I smiled. "Yes."

"I guess you have to go now," he said.

"I know."

He stood there for a moment. I said goodbye and walked away, looking at the ground. On the plane, I looked at pictures of the things we'd done. I found a picture that I never took. It was of Tommy. He must've gotten onto my phone. I smiled. I scrolled through a few more until I reached the end of them. I was sad to leave him, but I was happy looking back at all the memories we'd made that week. I felt better knowing that we could make so many more in the future.

The End.
