More Rumors Than That
For the rest of the day after that, we did what we usually do, we had probably already drawn enough attention than usual. At the end of the day, it was decided that I would leave a little later than when Vincent and the others leave.
So Nicky and I went to the café and we ordered a little something while we would wait and sat outside at a small round table.
"So the news about you and that guy aren't true?" Nicky asks.
"Yes Nicky, why is it so hard for you to believe?" I had already told her no a million times today.
"Because your both beautiful and beautiful things always go together," she said in a duh tone. "But of course not saying that I've given up on you yet?" She makes that clear.
I laugh out loud. "Yeah, sure."
"Well isn't it Ebony Knight?" That girl I met the other day came walking up to Nicky and me at our table.
"Oh hello, what was your name again?" I knew it wasn't but it's all part of a strategy.
"Ashley Turner, but I'm sure you would hear of me at some point from at the very least one of the teachers." She says while looking proud and crossing her arms, probably expecting me to ask why.
"Well, Ms. Turner was there something that you needed from me?"
"Well there's no need to be formal with me, I was thinking about becoming friends with you, do you have time this weekend to hang out?" She asks, she is basically doing the keep your enemies closer strategy.
"I'm sorry I planned on spending this weekend with my dad who I hadn't seen since school started," which is true I was planning on calling him later.
"Then how about sometime after school one of these days, we can spend time at your place," did she just invite herself to my place.
"I wish I could but my current living situation doesn't allow me to personally bring friends over without consulting the others who live there as well and I live off-campus right now," I explain really hoping she gets the hint.
Nicky was just watching this unfold while sipping on her drink. She was actually able to eat her food while I was being bothered so I couldn't eat mine.
"Well maybe we can have a chance to have a meal together, but I'll let you get back to your food now, see you later," she walked away with the nicest, fakest smile I've ever seen.
All these mean girl tactics I've been through them before, obviously she wants to get close to me so she can get whatever information she wants and use me to her advantage before dropping when I've been completely used up.
She could also think that if she is someone that gets paid to do other people's work she probably thinks that I'm not that smart since I'm a fashion major. She could basically end up controlling my grades and say she mixed up papers and make my grades go down.
Anyways as I said I know the different tactics that different types of mean girls use, personally I'm not into her smart girl strategy especially if the opponent is just as smart, such as myself.
Nicky and I decided to part ways at the parking lot and went on our way. I was going to go straight home but I decided I should stop by the company and get some paperwork so I can do it at home.
I told Spencer where I was going so another incident doesn't happen like last time. I got to the building and parked in my parking space, as soon as I opened my door and stuck my foot out my car paparazzi was flooding me.
