I woke to tapping on my shoulder. I covered my face then heard Taeyoons voice. "Unless you want to be late, school is in 20 minutes." He spoke then casually left the room. I shot up out of bed and panicked. "SHIT! How the hell did I sleep through my alarm?!" I yanked the sheets off me and in 5 minutes had my clothes on. I put my hair into a low pull-through bun with my strands of hair that don't fit falling around my face. I ran out the door to see Taeyoon sitting on the couch reading. "Why are you reading? We're gonna be late!" I said to him. He looked up from his book. "Take your time. We have another mode of transport." I looked at him confused.
10 minutes later we were flying above the city at an incredible speed. "If I didn't bring my hairbrush, I swear to GOD." I yelled over the wind while squinting my eyes. Taeyoon raised his eyebrows in amusement. In the next minute, we arrived and landed in an alleyway on the street next to the school. Taeyoon watched me with a smirk as I tried to brush my now somewhat knotty hair. "Stop staring at me! You don't know the pain I go through!" I fake cried. "As a matter of fact, I don't. Magic." He spoke with a triumphant look on his face. I rolled my eyes and tied my hair into the same look I put it in this morning and we started walking.
Once again stares were flying our way and I couldn't care less. "You humans are weird." Taeyoon spoke bluntly. "Your not wrong, but what made you think of that?" I replied. "All their thoughts are about is talking about how 'hot' people are and some are rather violent directed to you. Shall I end them?" I sighed. "NO DON'T YOU DARE!!" I Whisper-yell at him. He huffed and resumed looking around the school. "Moving on from that, yeah it's school and it's not often that an attractive guy that's every girls dream suddenly appears in their year" I said shrugging as he raised his eyebrow. 'You'd be surprised at the number of groupies my year has. Kind of sad.' I thought. 'I'm beginning to agree.' I stared right at his face frozen for a good 6 seconds. "YOUR MOUTH DIDN'T MOVE WHAT THE HE-" His hand moved to cover my mouth, startling me. "Telepathy. Remember?" It came back to me and my expression changed to a glare. "If there is a way to get you out of my head, I'd love to know!" I spoke with a sharp tone. "Maybe there is.." he shrugged before walking into the classroom. "HEY!!" I said, running in after him.
We settled in class and surprisingly isobe left me alone for once. Taeyoon must have really had an effect on him. "—oh and you just have to think about not wanting people to hear what you are thinking and no one will. People don't know about me being able to anyway so why would they try and block their thoughts?" I nodded in agreement. "Well, that is utterly stupid but noted.. I guess." The teacher soon after walked in and started the lesson.
About halfway into the lesson, I got a note chucked at my head. I turned around and glared at where it came from. The sender being none other than Isobe. He was signaling to open it. 'Fucking pest' I internally rolled my eyes and opened the letter. It wrote; 'hey I know someone who likes you and he wants to meet you. Stay after school and meet at the rooftop?' I raised my eyebrow. 'Now why do I feel like this is complete bullshit?' You know what sure. I'll play along. I chucked the note back to isobe (making sure it was a really hard throw) he yelped a little too loudly at the force, and after he recovered from his embarrassment he opened it to see the fine I wrote with little effort and gave me a thumbs up. 'Hey.' I jumped and looked to my left to see Taeyeon looking at me. 'Can I speak through my mind too??' He stiffly nodded. 'You gonna meet him?' I held a confused expression for a minute before it clicked. 'Oh did you hear what was in the note?' He once again nodded. 'You know he is lying, right?' He spoke, resting his head on this hand. 'Yeah yeah, I do. Just playing along. I have a feeling it's the head hoe of the school and her little sidekicks' He raised his eyebrow. 'Oh? Shall I accompany you?' I shrugged, 'Yeah do what you want.'

I was ready for a showdown of roasts if the supposed interest turned out to be so so fake but I couldn't jump to conclusions just yet either. Taeyoon said he'd hover around somewhere so I let him be. I walked up the stairs but what greeted me was not what I expected at all. "Uh what? Isobe why're you up here?" He turned around weirdly slowly and smiled at me. 'Not creepy at all.' He started walking up to me without saying a word. "Hello? Why aren't you speaking?!" I started getting really creeped out and I felt something was wrong. He came up to me and grabbed my arm, leading me to the far end of the roof. "Where are you taking me?? Hey! Speak already!!" I yanked my arm away from him and as soon as I did, his face flickered unnaturally and his expression turned into rage. "LILY!" I heard Taeyoons voice before being pulled to the side as Isobe lunges at me. "WOAH what the?!" Taeyoon attempted to kick Isobe in the stomach but he unnaturally avoided the precise hit. "Okay, who the hell is that??" I spoke in disbelief. "I believe it is a card called mirror. They can take the form of anything they desire." Suddenly this made so much sense to me. As Taeyoon and 'Isobe' threw themselves at each other, I quickly went for the key on my neck. "Key that hides its crystal form, as your master I command you, RELEASE!" Before I knew it, the staff had formed in my hand and I lunged at the imposter.
(Still working on this chapter and the next they're being redone because my past self mad ethem too clichè and cringey)
