Y/n pov

I was on the team. I did it... and now is my official first day. I wouldn't have made it this far without my friends. I was outside the gym while Coach Ukai spoke to the team.

"New player? Who is it? Isn't it kinda late to join the team?" I heard Daichi ask
"Well... this player is very valuable to the team. They are amazing and I watched them play earlier. Now I know that this player may bring some... scandal... to the team but I can assure you that it shouldn't matter what the other teams will say about them." Coach replied
"Well now I'm interested in whoever this player is. Maybe he can take Noya's position." Tanaka added
"HEY! I HEARD THAT!"

I took a deep breath. I could hear someone walk to the door from the other side. It opened slightly and I saw Coach Ukai's face through the crack.

"You ready kid?"

I nodded.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

He turned and faced the team.

"Alright boys... meet your newest player!" He said opening the door

I walked through and I could feel the stares. Noya, Hinata, Suga, and Kageyama stared at me and smiled. Noya and Suga gave a thumbs up as I turned to Daichi. He was confused as all hell.

"I... wait... no... hold on a second." Daichi stuttered

I turned to Coach.

"So... you ready to kick ass kid?" He asked
"HELL YEAH! WE GET NOT ONLY DAICHI ON THE TEAM, BUT WE GET HIS BABY SISTER TOO!" Tanaka cheered
"NOW NO ONE WILL WIN AGAINST US! WE GOT THE DETERMINATION TWINS WITH US!" Noya added

I just looked to Daichi, a huge smile on my face.

"Really guys? Determination Twins? Is that the best you got?" I joked
"Now hold on a minute. As much as I'd love to-"
"Stop right there Captain. I know what you're thinking: "how can this girl right here get us to Nationals?" Well let me tell you... I've seen her work and skills and... she's just as good as any of you. It shouldn't matter that she's a girl, I think having her on the team is going to break a lot of boundaries." Coach said cutting off Daichi

Suga pov

"Come on guys... am I the ONLY guy here who's freaking out?" Daichi said
"Daichi it's okay. If Coach approves, then so do I." I reassured
"And me!" Noya yelled
"And me!" Tanaka added
"Both of us too!" Hinata yelled trying to hold onto Kageyama
"And don't forget about us!" Kiyoko and Takeda yelled

Y/n looked like she was going to cry. Noya ran to her side and hugged her.

"Hey. What's wrong Y/n?" Noya asked

She hugged him back.

"Nothing. You all... are making me so happy right now." She sniffled

I looked to Daichi and smiled. I think for once he realized he couldn't win this battle. He walked over to Y/n and Noya.

"Alright. I'll accept you Y/n. I'm glad you're here." He said

Noya and Y/n jumped on Daichi, causing all three of them to fall. They all started laughing.

"Hey! Don't forget about me!" Hinata yelled throwing himself onto the pile

I ran over and joined them on the ground.

"WAIT LET ME IN ON THIS PRECIOUS MOMENT!" Tanaka yelled

Almost as soon as Tanaka joined in on the pile, so did everyone else. All of us were laughing and smiling. I looked to Noya and Y/n, who were just mere inches away from each other. They were smiling at each other. Then, they looked to Daichi. Daichi ruffled each of their heads and looked to me.
