To say I was ready to give my answer was an understatement. I knew from the first moment I took the position I knew who the VC would be... and it'd be Koushi obviously.

"Hey it's okay if you don't think it should be me. I don't want your personal feelings for me to get in the way." Koushi said

I stared at the boy. I wasn't going to let my feelings get in the way of what was right.

"Koushi I was going to say I'd like you to be the VC because... well... I think you still deserve it."
"Wait seriously? This doesn't have to do with you and me?"
"Well... if I'm being honest... yes and no. Yeah you're my boyfriend and I'm supposed to put you first but in this moment, I'm doing what is right for the team."

Koushi smiled and ran over to give me a hug.

"I love you... you know that right?" He said
"Yeah I know you do. I love you too."

He laughed a little and looked at the rest of the team. The guys were smiling at us.

"Finally Suga might get laid." Tanaka teased
"TANAKA!" Everyone yelled

Koushi gave the younger male a death stare. He wrapped his arms around me and put his chin on my shoulder, almost in a "protective" manner.

"Sorry. Hope you don't mind that I'm a little over protective of you." He said
"You dork... but I love you regardless."
"Hell yeah you do."

He kissed my cheek and let me go.

"Alright everyone! Let's practice like there's no tomorrow!" I yelled
"YEAH!" The guys cheered

A few hours later...

"Hey Y/n!" Someone yelled

I turned around and saw a familiar face running after me. It was Rathalos.

"Oh hey Rathalos!"

The girl, who was about an inch shorter than me, smiled at me, her hazel-golden eyes showing she was extremely happy.

"How you been? I hope everything is well!" She said
"Well yeah! I'm doing great! You look happy too!"

She nodded and smiled wider.

"Yeah! Tooru asked me to go with him to Argentina!"
"Wait what?! Why?!"

She started jumping up and down.

"Because he has the chance to join the team! A professional team! I have a chance to go with him!"
"Wow... a professional team. What about you?"

She shrugged.

"I have a choice to join... but I don't know yet. Tooru doesn't know so I might keep it a secret till then."
"Why?"

She shrugged again.

"I'm not saying that I don't want to play... it's just... I'm not you. I'm not on a team with a bunch of powerful guys who could easily beat me if they wanted to. I'm not you Y/n."

I tilted my head a little. What does she mean by that?

"I'm confused. What are you saying?"

She sighed.

"Yeah I've been through a lot but I haven't been where you are now. I'm not even close to your type of skill. I'm so new to this sport."
"Well yeah but you're an amazing Libero! You're one of the best!"
