As I stood near the back of the crowd of students, there wasn't many that I knew. Probably business kids or general studies. All of the students from the hero course were all near the front because they actually cared about this festival. No one else did. After all, this whole festival was designed for the hero course students because they were what the school was known for. 

"ARE YOU READY?!" Present Mic's voice boomed over the PA system. The crowd screams in excitement. I roll my eyes. 

Ok, they're not even cheering anymore. Now, they're just screaming. 

"3....... 2...... 1...... GO!" A buzzer goes off as he yells go, and everyone starts running and pushing through the doorway as I thought. I roll my eyes and spread my wings. Jumping slightly, I fly above everyone and over the crowd. 

I could hear people yelling saying that wasn't fair. I saw that Tsu had the same idea as me because she jumped onto a wall and was crawling along the wall. 

Great minds think alike. 
Once I pass over everyone I go to land, but I hear something coming towards me. It sounded like ice. As I near the ground, I quickly pull my feet up and ice comes flying below me across the ground covering most of the pathway ahead of me. "Nice try Sho," I yell coming closer to the ground to land. When I land I heat up my feet, to the point I was almost melting the ice allowing me to slide along the ice. I can hear Shoto catching up to me. I was about to turn around but something ahead of me caught my eye. Straight ahead of me were giant robots that looked like the ones I fought during the entrance exams. But way bigger. 

I tried to remain calm, but on the inside, I almost shit myself. Those things scared me so bad, I almost jumped out of my skin. 

As I was running towards them, I heard ice coming again. Jumping up a little keeping myself in the air with my wings, I watched as the ice went down the pathway and froze the robots in place. I was excited for a moment before I realized that the robots were off balance. 

Oh shit. 

Shoto ran under the legs of the robot. I quickly followed after him. "Look, we can get through under their legs," Someone yells behind me. 

You idiots. 

"Careful, I froze them when they were off their balance," Shoto yells back as the sound of ice breaking and metal falling fills the track. The robots were falling down. You managed to get under and past the robots before they fell completely. "On purpose," 

In shock, you turned around to see what had happened. A part of you wanted to run back and make sure people were ok, but the other part of you wanted to win this race. After a moment of you being completely frozen, you heard a familiar voice. 

"I'M ALIVE!" It sounded like Kirishima. 'People are ok. Come one Y/N, get back in the game,' I sigh with relief snapping myself out of my thoughts. I turn around and start running after Shoto. I ran for a few moments before I came to a large almost bottomless pit filled with rock pillars. The only thing keeping the pillars together were thick ropes. About halfway through the pit was Shoto. He was pushing himself across the ropes with his ice. 

Smart. 

I open my wings up and flap them lifting me into the air and begin flying past this obstacle and past Shoto, putting me in first place. The next obstacle was a plain field with little divets in the ground. Looking to the side, I see a sign that says 'MINE FIELD' in bold letters. 

Hmm, makes sense. 

I decided to fly above the mines as that would be the easiest way to get across. I was about halfway through the minefield when I heard someone yelling from behind me. "Y/N YOU BASTARD!" Without even looking back, I could tell that it was Bakugou.
