It was a cold day at the (y/l/n) mansion. Y/n stayed late at work, again. Staying late was normal for her by now. Why? Nobody knew, not even her best friend Leroy Jethro Gibbs, but everyone was sure she had her reasons. Maybe it was the fact that the third person she married was cheating on her and thought she didn't notice or even have the slightest suspicion, maybe it was that her 22 year old daughter had just gone to the army and her 20 year old son was somewhere in Australia with his boyfriend of 4 years. They didn't know, she didn't even know, why she would always stay late or take the paperwork of her coworkers, so that she had a distraction and didn't have to focus on her problems.
