Horikita Route (4) Video Games

"Video games?"

"Yeah, have you never tried them?" Sotomura asked. Ike was there as well, holding a very weird remote, connected to a purple box.

"No, not at all." Their jaws dropped at my statement.

"What?"

"We're going to the video game store, right now." Sotomura said, dragging me by the arm.

"There's a video game store? When did that happen-"

"Shut up and stop asking questions!" Ike barked. I let out an exhausted sigh, and let them drag me to who knows where.

Timeskip

"We're here!" Sotomura said, opening the door to a very shady building. If we weren't high schoolers, I would've thought they had drug dealers. Actually, high schoolers might do that, never mind.

In the building was a whole collection of various games I assume, with random box shaped machines.

Ike picked up one of these machines, and hugged it very tightly. "Look at this beauty, the Nintendo 64. One of the classics."

"This is a console." Ike said, pointing at the newly named machine. I nodded to show my understanding. They then dragged me over to a rack of cases, with the label "Wii" on it.

"This is where you get the video games at."

"But they're not the same as the Nintendo 64...." I stated.

"Different consoles have different games.....you do realize that right?" I nodded once again, and we went back to the console section. They grabbed a white console off of the shelf that came with two white remotes.

"This will be your first console. Now which game to get you....." While they were looking around for video games, I decided to take a look as well.

None of the games looked appealing to me, except for two; a game called New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Wii Sports. They both showed that two people could play it, so I could invite someone over to play it.

"Hey, I found two games I want to play." Ike and Sotomura quickly scurried over, and looked at what I was looking at.

"Interesting choices. Come on, let's buy this." Sotomura said, walking to the register. Ike and I followed closely behind.

Sotomura put the items on the table. "That will be 10,296 points." I was going to pay for it, but Ike quickly brought his phone, and offered it to the cashier.

"Thank you for visiting!" The cashier said, giving the phone back to Ike. We walked out of the store, and they handed me my items.

"Thanks."

"No problem, have fun!" Ike said, sending me off.

Now that I have this, I have to invite someone to test it out.

Meanwhile

"So........why did we buy our enemy a Wii?" Sotomura asked.

"Isn't it obvious? To get him to trust us!"

"But you just wasted 10 thousand points...."

"No worries, because you'll be paying for the damage."

"Wait wha-"

"Or do you want me to expose your mass hentai collection to every female in the school?" Ike threatened.

"......Fine."

I was now in my room, the Wii ready to go. It took me a while to figure everything out, but the manual helped me set it up.
