Jessie came to a stop at what she thought was the end of the hall. She noticed a small air vent on the floor. "These hallways must be our ventilation systems." said Jessie. She was right, it was the ventilation system. Then why would there be a dragon in their vents? When she looked through the little cracks in the vent, she saw a group of people that didn't look to familiar. "That was a good plan Frank." said the short guy in the group. "Thanks Jack, I knew it would work." as Jessie was looking around through the vent, she noticed grease on the group's fingers. She also saw wrenches, hammers, nails, and bent springs. She gasped when she saw the most valuable piece of information, it was blueprints for a robot of some sort. In Jessie's mind, she knew that the robot was a dragon because it just made sense to her. But who were these people? And where is this room?

"Hmhmhmhmmmhmm" Jessie hummed as she was drying off. She had just gotten out the shower and was ready for dinner. When she went down stairs, her parents looked at her like she had done something wrong. "Where were you all day, you scared us to death!" Mrs. Johnson said in disappointment. "I was, umm, studying," Jessie said as she was thinking of reasonable explanations "and, umm, talking to my friends on my phone, and, umm" "Nice try," Mrs. Johnson said in disbelief, "Tell us the truth young lady." Mrs. Johnson gave Jessie the evil eye. Jessie knew there was no getting out of this. "I went to....Jenny's house, yah, I went to Jenny's house, sorry for not telling you." Jessie lied. She was really fighting an evil, robot dragon. "You are grounded until next weeks party," Mrs. Johnson said buying Jessie's lie, "We had to postpone the party because of you. Now instead of tomorrow, the party will be next Thursday." "Yes!" Jessie said in her mind because she would have more time to stop the curse. "Noooo!" she said out loud, fibbing again.
After her dinner of lamb chops and mint jelly, she went up to her room. It was 10:00 and she was pooped from the fight with a ferocious beast. When she woke up, she was in the elevator again. Only this time, when she pressed the red button, the floor dropped, sending her down a slide. "That's funny, I thought I landed on a mattress." she thought. When she landed, it was between a circular rope. The rope clamped around her ankle and pulled her upside down. "Finally," said Frank, "We've got you in our hands."
