After getting barely any sleep, Changkyun wasn't surprised when he heard Kihyun wake him stating it was nearly three in the afternoon. But he was surprised when he went into the kitchen and saw a tall, muscular man. He was pressing a kiss on Kihyun's cheek.

"Hoseok hyung?"

The younger knew working in the music industry was difficult and that it took up a lot of time. He was grateful to see Hoseok, even if it was only for a moment.

The older turned and smiled widely.

"Changkyunie!" The older hugged him tightly and ruffled his hair.

Despite being grown up, his friends never stopped treating him like a kid. Changkyun would never admit it, but he enjoyed the affection. His own father had never been around much due to work, so it felt nice to be taken care of by his hyungs.

"Hey, hyung." He smiled when the older ruffled his hair again.

He felt a spark of envy as he watched Hoseok and Kihyun. Their relationship seemed so perfect, almost like a fairytale. For the eight years he had known them, he never saw them look at each other without their eyes filled with awe and pure love. It was as obvious as the rings on their fingers. The rings that sealed their love and made it so much more real and beautiful.

He and Hyunwoo had definitely had their fair share of arguments, but they had always managed to make it work. Besides... if they never fought, their relationship would have never grown. No matter how often they fought, they had never crossed their boundaries.

"Changkyunie?" Hoseok's voice broke through his thoughts.

The younger turned to face him.

"You blanked out for a second. Is everything alright?"

He nodded his head. "I'm fine, hyung."

"I know you didn't eat breakfast, Changkyun," said Kihyun. "Come, sit." He was placing fried eggs on toast with a side of fried rice.

He did as he was told and began to eat. He thought back to when he would have to stay up to study. Kihyun had cooked the same meal he ate now. He took a bite of toast and egg. The older's food was still as heavenly as ever.

"You're not planning on meeting Hyunwoo in those clothes, are you?" Kihyun teased.

He had given the younger one of Hoseok's hoodies and a pair of sweatpants to sleep in, and he was still wearing them now.

Changkyun looked down at his clothes.

"I was planning on re-wearing the clothes from yesterday."

"I bet Kihyun has plenty of options for you," Hoseok offered, nudging his husband.

"I couldn't-" the youngest began.

"I won't take 'no' for an answer," Kihyun insisted.

Changkyun pretended to ignore him and took another bite of rice.

"Im Changkyun!" Kihyun sighed, pretending to sound impatient.

The said male looked up innocently. "Your cooking is really good, hyung."

Hoseok snickered and Kihyun playfully smacked his arm.

"Let the kid eat."

Hoseok dragged Kihyun out of the kitchen, hand in hand.

Changkyun finished his food and went to the sink to wash his dish. He took care to wash the other dishes in the sink, placing them in the dishwasher once he was done. As he rinsed his hands, he suddenly remembered when he and Hyunwoo had decided to take a walk at one in the morning.

Neither of them could sleep, so they agreed to try to distract themselves. It had been sprinkling lightly that night, but then turned into steady rain. Hyunwoo, who was a good two or three inches taller, shielded the younger with his jacket. It ended up not doing much good-- the rain soaked through the jacket in a matter of minutes. They ran across the grass and Hyunwoo slipped with a thud.

Changkyun froze. "Are you okay?"

With a playful smirk, Hyunwoo grabbed the younger by the shirt and pulled him down. Changkyun yelped in surprise as he landed in the wet grass and they both burst into laughter.

"I love you, Changkyun," Hyunwoo said, brushing Changkyun's wet hair out of his face.

Changkyun's heart skipped a beat. "I love you, too."

They went both quiet, the silence filled with the soft pitter patter of the rain as they laid in the grass.

"Hyunwoo?"

"Hm?"

"I don't ever want this to end," Changkyun confessed. "I love you so much. I can't imagine my future without you."

Hyunwoo smiled gently and pressed a kiss on his cheek.

"Neither can I," he whispered.

Their lips connected as the rain continued to pour down on them.

Changkyun smiled sadly, unable to stop thinking about his boyfriend.

If they were to separate... would he be able to handle it?

"Changkyunie! Come look!" Kihyun called excitedly. The elder's voice instantly lifted his mood. "I think we found something!"

The male dried his hands and went to the couple's room. His jaw dropped when he saw what they had prepared for him.

"I think he likes it," Hoseok said, grinning.

Changkyun pulled the two into a hug.

"I love it. Thank you."

Kihyun squeezed his shoulder encouragingly.

"Let's go get your man!"
