season two episode four ; halloween ii part two... briefing room... two pm...
Kenzie sat down at a desk at the back of the room, kicking his feet up and putting a gummy bear in his mouth, watching as Terry, Amy, Zach and Rosa joined them in the briefing room.
"I was behind the door!" Jake announced, swinging out from behind the door and startling Amy, Terry and Rosa. Zach didn't even flinch, though he rarely did.
"Nice entrance babe," Kenzie commented.
"Why thank you. Greetings, comrades, and welcome to the most important briefing of your life. As you all know, the Holt-Peralta Halloween bet had been made, and the clock doth ticks."
"What's with the tux?" Rosa asked.
"I decided to class up this year's event. Kenzie picked the shirt and Bowie from a thrift store, and I bought the coat off a disgraced magician, and it is chock-full of scarves." Jake demonstrated this by pulling scarves out of his sleeve.
"What? How?" Scully asked.
"A real magician never tells, young man," Jake replied mysteriously. "Now, let's get started. I've been planning this for three months. You've all been given a specific role and code name. Rosa, you're the Dagger. Sarge, the Hammer. Kenzie, the Eagle."
