Arackniss's POV

It had been three days since the party.

Charlie was pissed that I'd knocked her unconscious.

But, she agreed it was for the best.

Blitz and his crew started to hang out more around us.

We now usually stay at the I.M.P. building.

Now I'm keeping Charlie and Loona safe.

Charlie walked over to me one afternoon.

We were currently in the I.M.P. meeting room.

"You can Loona safe." Said Charlie. "I can look after myself."

"No can do, Princess." Said Millie. "We're keeping you safe until this thing blows over."

"Didn't you guys burn down Loo Loo Land, while posing as Uncle Stolas's bodyguards." Asked Charlie.

"That was ONE TIME!" Said Blitz. "I'm only doing it with him for the fucking grimoire."

"Wait," Said Moxxie. "you're Stolas's neice?"

I got up.

"Listen everyone!" I said, grabbing everyone's attention. "Let's not forget what we're doing."

"Keeping Charlie safe?" Asked Loona, looking at her phone while sitting with both feet on her desk. "Why don't we just call Lucifer, have him kill the mob assholes?"

"It would ruin Charlie's image." I said.

Charlie sighed.

She then looked at me with a smile.

"Arackniss, I don't care about my image." Said Charlie. "I only care about the well being of my people."

I sighed.

"Y'know, Charlie," I said walking towards a window. "you honestly have to think about what people think about you to get anywhere in life."

Just then a dead body was flung through the window shattering it to pieces.

I jumped out the way just in time.

The corpse crashed through the table.

It was a purple demon with horns.

"Mrs. Mayberry!" Said Blitz.

There a note attached to Mrs. Mayberry's corpse.

I took it and read it.

"The Radio Demon wants Charlie." I said.

"Radio Demon!?" Exclaimed Charlie. "Is there anyone with power who doesn't want to kill me? All I want is to help my people."
