You had fallen asleep on the couch, when a blaring sound kept screaming at you. You quickly shot up and looked around for your phone and swiped it up off of the ground, turning it off. Your schedule was much different than everyone else's and you immediately felt guilty for forgetting to turn it off. You silently hoped it didn't wake anyone else up.

Now that the apartment was silent again, you turned to look out the window to be greeted by a frosty white world. It was breathtaking, the way the ice crawled up the corners of the window in swirling designs.

"I wonder..." you murmured and checked the univeristy's website in your phone, seeing that school had been canceled today. You smiled to yourself and flopped back down onto the big couch, going through all the things you could do with a day off.

"You're up early." Niccolo walked into the room with a white undershirt and gray sweats on. He had bright red slippers that scuffed along the wooden floor as he headed into the kitchen nook.

"So are you," you chirped back as you got up and walked over to the ledge, leaning your elbows onto it, and resting your face in your hands. "Are you making breakfast?" You waggled your eyebrows and Niccolo chuckled at that.

"What else would I be doing? My cooking is the only thing that'll wake Sasha and the rest of the gang up," Niccolo teased with confidence, pulling out the carton of eggs from the fridge.

"Whatcha making?" You asked and Niccolo shrugged, turning to look at you and whispering, "You'll see."

"Well, while you're cooking, would it be alright if i showered?" You asked, standing upright and crossing your arms.

"Please do! You need it," Niccolo smirked and you scoffed at his response, rolling your eyes as you brushed off his comment.

"Anyway, it'd be nice to have some clean clothes to get into. Would it be alright if I borrowed some?" Niccolo stopped working on breakfast for a moment as he took some time to think, his brows knitting together. He always did that when he needed to think.

"I think so...Sasha might actually have some spare clothes in the coat closet. She stays the night sometimes and I'm sure she wouldn't mind if you took some. Feel free to check in there," he smiled and went back to work, concocting a breakfast that was sure to be scrumptious.

You headed over to the coat closet and found the pile of Sasha's clothes on the top shelf. You grabbed a stack of clothing and headed down the hall to the shower. After locking the door, you looked around to see if there was a shampoo and body wash that was just clean and not manly smelling. Fortunately, there was a bottle that was just called "Rushing Falls" that smelled pretty nice for all genders. Unfortunately it was one of those 3-in-1 bottles. But hey, that was better than nothing.

Turning the shower on, you took your clothes off and stepped in, quickly washing up and cleaning your hair, your fingers scrubbing your scalp to make sure you'd get all the oil and dirt out. Once you were finished showering, you dried yourself off and put on the pair of clean clothes. It was a simple outfit, navy sweatpants with a matching oversized sweatshirt.

I have got to brush my teeth you thought as someone started knocking at the door. "Just a minute!" You called as you searched for a clean toothbrush. You scratched your head when you couldn't find anything, so you opened the door to see Connie rubbing at his eyes. He smiled, and you could feel your heart lift at the sight of his goofy grin.

"Do you have a clean toothbrush?" You asked as he stepped into the bathroom, pursing his lips in thought. He opened up the medicine cabinet and started to shuffle some things around.

"One second," his voice was raspy—morning voice, and it made your heart skip a beat. Stop it you scolded yourself as your eyes watched him leave.
