Chapter 8

Lisa's pov

Today is the fitting of the grooms men, flower girl and ring bearer and chipmunk is doing her job while Jisso is assisting her.

"Should we adjust it?" chaeyoung asked one of the groomsmen.

"No its fine. What's your name again?" he  asked interested .

" Oh I'm Rośe."

"You're the designer right? You're pretty I thought you're a bride today. My bride." the guy joked that made her just laughed.

"Do you have a boyfriend Ms. Rosè?"

"Me?? Uhm...—"

"Chaeyoung-ah! Can you assist me first?" Jissoyah suddenly called then the chipmunk rushed towards her and helped with the  ring bearer who is a cute little boy na medyo malikot.

"Are you  barbie?" a cute voice said from a little girl standing  right infront of me, she was one of the flower girls.

"Hiii... What's your name?" I asked while kneeling down to level with her height.I fix her dress.

"I'm Nini.." she replied. I subconsciously smiled,I called Jennie Nini... Before.

"Really? Nini? How cute, as cute as you . Hi Nini, I'm Lil—Lisa..." I corrected then put the strand of hair behind her ear. That the exact thing I did to Jennie the last time we talked five years ago.

"You look like barbie..." she cutely said, I smiled.

"Huh? Really?"

"C-can I hug you?" she asked that surprised me.Maybe because she thought I was Barbie.

"Ye-yeah yeah sure...N-nini."i said then she step towards me and hugged me. It was so sweet.

" Uhum! "a cough interrupted us from behind. I smiled at the girl then stoop up before facing whom it was.

My body stiffened meeting her cold eyes, the smile on my lips fades away.

" J-jennie.. When did you came ? "I asked in plain expression.She was looking at the other direction then pull something from her bag.

" I just came here to give this list. It's not the full list. "She coldly said then handed me the folded paper.

" And I'm gonna choose my dress today. "she added still looking away.

"O-okay...uhm here." I lead the way to the area where the dresses are displayed.

I was just sparing a look at her, she was so serious and focus checking the dresses.

"Ms. Lisa? Are you hungry? I brought you lunch you should eat your lunch first." Nayeon said. I caught jennie glanced at us but when she saw that I was looking at her she look away.

"Hm thankyou Nayeon. Could you assist her first?"

"Sure! I know everything here don't worry."she smiled. This bunny is really sweet.

I headed to my office and take my lunch, 15 minutes passed by and I'm already done.

I'm now checking my schedules for tomorrow when I heard the glass door opened. Jennie entered with Nayeon who is carrying a dress.

"Where's the fitting room ?" she coldly ask. I stood up from my chair.

"Nayeon please assist her." I utter so they headed to the fitting room just inside my office.

I saw that I have hectic schedules for tomorrow. I checked the digital clock at my desk and 10 minutes already passes.Suddenly Jennie came out with the gown, she's so pretty and my heart beat abnormally. This is not right.

I noticed that she was seems struggling pulling the zipper at her back. I just realized Nayeon wasn't here.

Where did that bunny go??

I can't just look at her, Lisa get up and help her you idiot!

"Somethings wrong?" I asked concern and when she noticed my presence she just paused but didn't look at me.

"Where's the assistant?" she coldly asked.

"She's busy outside, let me see fix it." I insisted then walk behind her then carefully pulled up the zipper. Her shoulders is intimidating me, I can smell her perfume and it's giving me a weird feeling. When I accidentally touch her skin she flinched.

I  turned around her. I'm now infront of her and lean forward, her body stiffen when our face is just an inch away from her face. I pull the tie from her back and tie it in ribbon around her waist.

You have no idea how uncomfortable I am, bakit ba kasi umalis si Nayeon hyyst.

Jennie's pov

When I came inside the first person I saw was Lisa talking to a kid. I heard them talking and I saw how Lisa's face changes when the kid told her her name. Same as my endearment.

Then she put some strands of hair behind her ear that reminds me something and it's giving me a pain inside my chest.

I'm not gonna lie, I can see how Lisa misses her Nini for the way she hug the kid and it's her own fault.

She's now fixing the ribbon in my dress. The aircon becomes warmer now, is it climate change?

She can't spare me a look.

Why Lisa? You're afraid or you're guilty huh?

Her eyes suddenly meet my eyes and that caught me off guard. Huh! Unbelievable that kid was right... She really looks like barbie.

Really Jennie? Are you really complimenting her?!

I face the other side and let her fix my dress...

"Are you comfortable?" she asked.

"It's very uncomfortable..." I coldly replied not referring about my dress.

"S-should we make some adjustments?" she stuttery utter, pain was visible in her voice.

"No need, it's better to choose something better. I don't want this one." I said that made her look at my eyes. She pursed her lips and make a nod.

"You can find another one.. I-if you'll feel happy with it." she utter then turn around. I know she wasn't referring about my dress.

"By the way... Congrats Jennie. Don't worry I will make your wedding the best." she weakly smiled before leaving the door.

A felt a sudden pain into my chest,I should not feel this way.
