Chapter 10

Jennie's pov

I miss  our house so much, since it's weekend and I have nothing important to do at my office I choosed to stay here with mom.

Kai was inside, yes he's with me. I saw him talking to mom, they're very close. Kai is so approachable and always wear a smile, when I met him it was in college but I haven't introduced him to my friends,since I wasn't that Interested to him that time hindi na ako nag - abala.

We met right after when Lisa leaved, that fucking day. I don't even want to remember that damn thing. I'm just thankful that he came to my life.

I was now in the pool, I miss swimming in here and I haven't done it for so long.

Lisa's pov

I received a call from Jennie's mom, inviting me to her house. I'm afraid that Jennie and I might see each other pero hindi ako makahindi, she really want me to go.

"Lisa Thankyou for coming." her mom said then give me a hug.

"Thankyou for inviting ..." I pursed a smile.

"Uhm.. We're preparing the food. Just make your self at home Lisa and I'll call you for breakfast." she said smiling then return to the kitchen.

They have 3 maids I guess? And their house is really big, the themes are simple in white. It's very different now.

I just had a walk and the wide pool area invites me. My phone suddenly ringed, it was chaeng.

"Lisa? Where are you? I'm at your condo right now." she said from the other line.

"What are you doing there? Chaeyoung-ah andito ako sa bahay nila Jennie."

"Huhh?? Why didn't you tell me? Wait—what house?"

"Her parents house." I utter.

"Ohh... Is Unnie there?"she asked in concern. I glance inside.

" Hindi ko pa sya nakikita. I don't know chipmunk. "

" Lisa? C'mon inside. "Jennie's mom called.

" Chipmunk I'll talk to you later. "I said before hanging up.

I grip my phone, take a deep breath then turn my feet facing the pool while eyes close. Everytime I was thinking about seeing her I am losing my strength.

" Yaya can you hand me my towel? "a familiar voice said that makes my heart pound abnormally.

When I open my eyes I saw jennie at the pool standing right there looking at me, I can't read her expression, she seems shock or shy I guess.

Umahon agad ito wearing black swim suit. Her body proportion was just perfect. I look at the other direction as fast as I can.

"I-I'm so-sorry..." I stuttery utter.

"Babe, Lisa?let's eat." Kai said.Jennie wrap her self with towel and walk inside leaving me at my spot.

"Lisa?" he called. I just nodded and followed them.

I was sitting at the right side of her mom while Kai is opposite to mine. Jennie came after before we started eating.

"How is your food Lisa?" Mrs. Kim asked.

"It was good Ma'a—tita ." I corrected.

"Really? Ohh thankyou... Matagal narin noong huling kumain ka rito. Remember? Jennie was always inviting you here." she utter then look at Jennie. Yes I remember that.

"Jennie when did you two met?" she asked. Jennie glanced at me while slicing the meat into her plate.

"At her shop." she simply answer.

"Ohh...I was really curious why you suddenly go back to Thailand and after that wala na akong balita sayo. Is there something important reason why you suddenly go back there?" her mom curiously asked.

"I-I... Uhm, my mom asked me to go back and handle our business. It should be permanently." I utter glancing at Jennie who wasn't looking at all.

"Oh.. So why did you return in Korea?" Kai suddenly asked. I don't think Kai I should answer that question.

"To... Follow my dreams and to return to where my heart belongs." I utter while looking at whom I was referring to, I saw how she paused then grab her glass of wine.

"Why don't you just stayed there, I guess Lisa there's no worth reason for you to return here.You know some things in here aren't that available." Jennie utter then coldly look at me.

"I'm referring about your business, do you really think you have opportunities here?" she asked casually. I know what she's trying to say no matter how she hide it.

"I guess.. I don't. But I think it's better rather  not taking the risk." I answered that made her gulp.

"So what do you really want to achieve?" she directly asked.

Your forgiveness Jennie...

"Something I think i won't never have." I replied then face my food., I don't know if Kai and her mom can feel our awkwardness and the tension between us.

Jennie's pov

I was on the garden refreshing my mind. I really need to think.

"Babe you okay?" Kai asked from behind then give me a back hug.

"Is she still inside?" I asked.

"Lisa?? Hm.. Yeah. She's talking to tita. Are you two okay?" he asked in concern. Maybe he felt the awkwardness between us.

"Yeah.." I bitterly utter suddenly I saw Lisa inside  talking to mom. She face our direction and I knew she was looking at me.

"Jennie, you have something on your cheeks." Kai said then lean his face removing something on my cheeks then suddenly he gave me a quick kiss in my lips.

"Can't wait to marry you." he smiled caressing my face.

"M-me too... Uhm. Let's go?" I cling my arms to him then we walk together.

"Gabi na Lisa, why don't you just stay here for tonight? Right? Dati naman dito ka natutulog diba?" mom said to her while they're sitting on the couch.

Of course mom she won't, why would she stay here. Tsk.

"I-uhm..no it's okay Tita. I can handle to drive home."

"Lisa just for tonight, and I knew you and Jennie just met recently, you should get together right? Just stay for tonight. Okay?" really mom??

"Tita, I think i should go. Thankyou and goodnight." Kai said from my side. "Jennie babe, goodnight. I'll call you later okay?" he said then kissed my chicks. Before he finally turn around I hold his hands for him to stop.

I saw how Lisa's eyes shifted down our hands.

"Kai why don't just stay here too? So Lisa and you will get together, I'm sure Lisa wants to know you more." I said then look at Lisa who was looking at me too.

"Yes it is. Kai stay here." mom said.

Please Kai just stay...

"Is it okay?"

"Of course, you're Jennie's fiance and soon to be husband so why not?" mom spoke.
