Chapter 20

Jennie's pov

*For over 5 years Jennie changes happened, if you think you're still stepping in the same world as before, and if I knew you're going into something like this, your worlds shouldn't have collided...*

I was now staring at Lisa while she was watching over the sea under the palm tree. My mind keep thinking about what Jisso told me,i don't even understand what she meant.

Yes I know, our worlds shouldn't have collided, she came back into my world out of nowhere and I throw her hate, it's because I'm still attached to our old worlds.

"K-kai... I have something to tell you." I nervously utter when he stood next to me. His expression suddenly changed into confusion and curiousity.

I ask him if we could talk about it alone.

"So what is it?" he started to ask.

"K-kai... U-uhm... I do-don't know how to tell this but, a-about our wedding..." I stuttery utter.

"What about it?"

"I-I want to.."

"Jennie, hey? Look at me... What about it?" he worriedly ask while holding my hands. I take a deep breath trying to process the word in my mouth.

"I-I want to cancel the wedding." I said, I felt his hands loosen its grip from holding my hands.

"Wha-what???"

"Kai I-I'm sorry..." I grab his hands while looking at him directly.

"Je-jennie I can't understand, whyy?? It's 3 months to go why did you suddenly want to cancel it??"

I don't know how to tell him without him being hurt.

"O-okay Jennie... U-uhmm.. Fine, we can re-schedule it. If you need more time and you're not still ready o-okay? Gusto mo ba next year nalang? —"

"Kai that's not what I m-mean...I know you know... Kai I'm so sorry." I utter that leaved him speechless. I was about to leave when he grab my waist and hug me from behind.

"J-jennie please let's talk, pleasee? If we had a problem we can talk A-about it just tell me. Jennie I love you so much, if you're just not ready I won't force you." he begged that moved me to tears.

"Ka-kai—"

"Jennie our family are waiting for it, pleasee.." he cut me off.

Lisa's pov

I saw Jennie and Kai leaved together, after an hour Kai returned. His face was hanged low that I can't read.

He stand next to me while facing the sea.

"A-are you okay?" I don't know why I ask but I'm curious too. Maybe he and Jennie fight?

"Lisa... I know Jennie and you are old bestfriends, you're close." he stated that suddenly send me nervousness. I gulped.

"W-what do you mean?" I stuttery utter.

"Do you know that she wants to cancel our wedding? " he sternly scaped a bitter laugh.

W-WHAAT?

"Since  planning the wedding she suddenly changed, becomes distant. Lisa I don't know why..."

"But now I'm sure..." he added that made me look at him directly.

"Before I thought I'm just being paranoid, but now I'm sure... Meron syang iba Lisa." he  said as if he's sure about it while facing me.
