Chapter 40

Jennie's pov

"Wow! How does it happened?" Jisso said in unbelief. Yeah how does it happened when actually me, Jisso and rosè are the first people who've she met before that bunny girl.

"I-I don't know.? I-I know your name b-but not the details." Lisa explained.

"Oh Lisa I'll make you remember, I'm actually your secretary do you remember that??"Nayeon said.

" And she's actually someone who've love to give you gifts. "Jisso added.

" Yes that's me! "

" Ma'am your snacks. "the maid said while putting a plate of chips on the small round table.

I leave my seat and go to the kitchen. It's irritating me because that was so unfair.

I get some cold water and drink it. One of the maids came and made some juice.

Suddenly I saw Lisa's dad, they just got home maybe.

"Jennie? You're friends are here."he said in surprised. He was carrying a big plastic of groceries and put it at the table.

" They just came. "I said then helped him to pull off the groceries from the bag.

" Who's the other girl? I didn't saw her last time they went here. "Mrs. Manoban asked when she came carrying some stuffs. She's talking about Nayeon.

" Uh Lisa's secretary. "I forced  a smile.

" Will you helped me to cook? "Marco asked, I nodded as a response.

" Sure! "I smiled.

" Ah Jennie, I bought you something. I should have buy more for your friends pero hindi ko alam na dadating pala sila. "Mrs. Manoban said while handing me a shopping bag.

" I just hope it would fit you. "she smiled. I gladly accepted it, I never thought this is how thoughtful Lisa's mom is.

" T-thankyou... "I shyly smiled and hugged her.

I helped Lisa's dad on the kitchen while Mrs. Manoban was talking to my friends outside. I washed the used items while he was now preparing the foods.

" Hey dad. "I heard Lisa's voice but I didn't look at her. With my peripheral I saw her opened the fridge and I know she's looking at me.

I closed the faucet and helped Mr.Manoban to prepare the foods at the table without  throwing Lisa a look. Yeah.. I was so jealous and it hurts me.

"Lisa call them. Let's have our lunch." her dad said.

"Okay dad."lisa responded then headed outside.

"Jennie thankyou."

"I-its nothing... Uh I'll just go upstairs." I told him, he nodded then I headed to our room.

I checked the shopping bag and I smiled when I saw the floral dress. I think it's exactly my size.

I go to the bathroom to changed.

Lisa's pov

Jennie suddenly dissappear then I saw her at the kitchen. I don't know but she seems ignoring me since we got home. She's not even throwing me a look that botheres me. Is she still mad because of the incident earlier?

"Woahhhh! This is alot." Rośe said with those twinkle in her eyes.

"Is this how it feels to have a chef dad?" Jisso spoke that made us laugh.

"Oh, you're father is a chef??!" Nayeon surprisedly utter. I just nodded..

They all take thier seat while dad and mom is still preparing.
