Is this scene we have Enterprise in a hospital bed. Or infirmary if you would like to call it that. She will be comforted by a male nurse after her getting so roughed up that she will be in the medical bed for quite some time. About a few days to recover.
Determination. Something that one current ship could write a whole book about. No days off, close to the battlefield or on the clock on watch duty, and devouring ration bars had finally taken its toll. Not wanting anyone to see her injured, fatigued, and unwell until it was too late. Where she collapsed on top of the water as a maid brought her in. The next day she woke up finding herself in the bed and hardly moving. Finding out she reached her limit and couldn't even get back to 50% strength all she could do is lay there and rest.
The nurse came over. He looked at her vitals. "How is everything?"
"I'm bedridden. Not looking over the coast. The gown is comfortable but that is really all that seems well." Sighed Enterprise.
"How's the soreness and fatigue?" He asked.
"I'm laying here. What do you think?"
"Lots. Understood." The nurse wrote it down.
"Why are you bothering?" Asked Enterprise.
"Well it's kind of my job."
"What kind of man is nurse?" She complained.
"You walk before you can run. I am currently in school to become an MD and move up from a RN. Currently you can call me (FN) or Nurse. Same as if you're injured or can't walk you shouldn't be out on the battlefield. Same as if your aim is off and even if your bow was perfect your strength would make you shoot straight as a circle. Which is why Belfast stopped by to inform me." What a recovery and comeback.
"Ugh. Fine. You win. It's just not like me to lay here. After I wake up and there is no task at hand I am unsure."
"I apologize that I cannot entertain you, but nurse or not I will do my best to take care of you Enterprise. I know who you are." Nodded (FN).
"And just what do you mean by that?" She snarled.
"I wonder if you look in the mirror in the morning to see what I see. I see a hero. Someone that everyone depends on to degree. Someone the younger ones look up to. And not just a hero, a beautiful woman at that. Someone who should take care of herself better and enjoy doing it. Eat with people more, slow it down, and rest is part of preparation. Maybe prep better in that regard. But I think I've said to much." (FN) had a little pink in his face. "I shall be off." With that the nurse made his exit. Only to leave the hero laying in the bed blushing.
Such comments. How could he say that and just leave? Why? So, calmly. A slip of the tongue? Or did he mean something?

Enterprise woke up the next morning with hot breakfast and then another fresh gown and undergarments in a bag. She woke up and thought this special treatment was a little much. Thinking that this is for someone else. Not her.
A knock came to the door. "Is it a good time to come in?"
"Hello Nurse. Come right on in." Called Enterprise.
"How are you?" The nurse from yesterday walked in. "I see you haven't touched breakfast or have gotten dressed yet."
"Did you actually get my things? What kind of perverted man does that?" Enterprise complained.
"Actually, I cooked the breakfast myself as your friend brought you undergarments from what I've been told. I just supplied a fresh gown and she put it in the bag."
