I'm back. Been a while I know.
I decided to get back in the swing of things with Friedrich. In my Prinz Eugen where her future step son Clovis or alias to (FN) who didn't give it a chance, seemed loved by the people.
So, instead of calling her Mom, how about we make her Mom? You feel me?
Enjoy.

As war would always be the biggest inevitable thing created by man would go on, the people cannot endure it forever. As battles go on the players that participate in this game that will never end fall as well. Just recently the Iron Blood Commander had retired while he knew what was good for him. To concentrate on his health and live his retirement in peace. The man Commander Heinburg was honored by his nation for all of his years of service. Wanting him to live out the rest of his days.
Which lead to the hardest task. Who would replace him? Someone not too old. Who was experienced and committed. There were several in front of them. The problem was most candidates were already in their mid-50s and within the decade were bound to weigh retirement. Then as they started to look younger, there was one that stood out. The grandson of Commander Heinburg. (FN) (LN) taking his mother's name to protect his identity was already in the ranks.
As he got there, it was a strange feeling. The public didn't know about who he really was. Only what he brought to the table. Hard work, leadership, and the tools and mind to keep Iron Blood strong for a long time. With battles on the calm since they were winning, not many had much doubt. Concern, yes. Doubt? No.
Commander (FN) (LN) or fourth generation Heinburg found himself in the big chair at the office. Getting used to the view over the water and the port. Something he only saw a handful of times. Now as an adult, a similar feeling as he saw for the first time as a boy. All smiles regardless of it being all business of where he stands. There was also going to be people popping in and out of the room with intel, resources, catering, and other visits from people and ships alike.
His first visitor came as he heard a knock on his door. "Come in." He called as he turned around from his port and ocean view. Eyeing a ship with long black hair.
The door opened and she closed it behind her. "My, you're younger than I thought you would be." Said the woman.
"Friedrich?" He pondered.
"Ara-ara. You know of me?" She cooed.
"I have. What brings you in?"
She walked over to join him by the glass windows. "You know, Henrik loved this sight for so many years."
"Old Commander?" (FN) became confused. This was his first time meeting Friedrich. But how well did she know his grandfather?
"Indeed. We were on a first name basis with each other. Even when he would be here finishing dinner and getting back to paperwork he would be pleasant to be around. He would get riled up and smoke his cigar while doing some heavy thinking."
"I can imagine." (FN) smiled. When he was a kid he'd see the old man. He'd have a salt and pepper haircut, crack jokes, compliment the ladies, and when things got crazy even when angry he was approachable. Yeah. Old man hopefully has retirement for a long time.
"So, how is he child?" Asked Friedrich.
"Huh?" She looked at her.
"You look just like him." She winked at him.
"I don't understand."
"You look just like him." She giggled.
"I'm sorry?" Looks like he was found out.
