Hope everyone is well. Thank you all for embracing these stories. Today we have business turning into pleasure. And it still baffles me I'm calling a woman King George.

Enjoy.

~~~~~
It was a Wednesday evening after supper time. The Commander of Royal Navy after his meal went back to his office to make sure his report was finished. Deadlines are religious for a reason. They are absolute. He managed to finish it within a few minutes and seal it for tomorrow. Then he looked at his pocket watch. He sighed. It was getting late. The sun was down and he had a meeting to attend to tonight. One with King George about issues and concerns.
"Bollocks." Said Commander shaking his head. "I hope I'm okay to meet Her Grace." With that he put on his coat and hat and began to make his way over.
It was a little cold that night. Spring was here, although the nights could be a little chilly. Particularly when the wind brewed. This was one of those nights. All the ships agreed. Unless they were working, they much enjoyed the warmer inside. It was a good thing that Commander's meeting was indoors too. And of all places, right next to a fireplace in an office that was more appropriate for a living room. Not a shocker since it's the palace.
As Commander entered the palace he was greeted by two maids. They smiled and were grateful that he was a guest for the evening.
"Evening Sir. May I take your coat and hat for you to hang up?" Asked Newcastle one of the maids.
"Certainly." He nodded and took off his hat and coat.
"I shall escort you to Her Highness." Smiled Curacoa.
"Thank you Ladies." Smiled Commander as he followed Curacoa to the office. Watching as the maid walked carefully up the stairs and down the halls lifting up her dress while holding a candlestick. All the way to the hall in which King George would be waiting.
Curacoa knocked on the door and opened it a crack. "Your Highness? Commander is here to speak with you."
"Please let him in." She called.
Curacoa smiled. "Thank you." Then turning to the Commander. "Our Ladyship has looking forward to it. Please take your time. One of us will be there."
"Thank you Madam." Thanked Commander and walked inside.
King George was on a couch with paperwork on the coffee table with notes, inventory, and classified plans. The fireplace was cooking to keep the room warm as it felt like Spring hadn't arrive yet. She shivered a little as she waited for him to enter.
"Good evening Sir." King George got up to make a proper introduction.
"Evening Your Highness." He bowed to her.
"Please have a seat and get comfortable. It is rather an icy night." King George got back to her warm spot on the couch.
"Thank you. And yes, my walk from my office to here wasn't the greatest having to walk here, but I am always happy to sit down and discuss things My Lady." Commander gave a warm smile.
"Well all considering, you're easy going in that regard."
"Unlike most men?" He interrupted and gave a firm grin.
"Yes..." She didn't want to go further because her point was made.
"Furthermore, I get it. But I told every man that if he is going to be stubborn or not open minded to anyone's ideas without hearing a person out to their a reason, they can leave. Less conflict. Even times where they leave and grab lunch and come back so we can go back to square one."
