Chapter 5

Everyone was in a state of shock, breathing heavily not believing what had just happened. Tom, Severus and Robert were standing by the elevator, Lucius was hugging Narcissa as she silently cried and Hadrian with Teddy at his side was handing out some water bottle he found and trying to regulate his breathing so he doesn't panic. Robert walked over to the door in the tiny room and pulled it open to reveal broken furniture and chairs in the way. "I'm going to take a look" he said quietly. Severus took off his jacket and pried open the scalding doors to reveal everything burnt to a crisp and small fires all over. He just looked over the edge breathing heavily as Tom came over and they just looked at each other.

"I think I found a way" Robert said popping his head through the door making a few people startle. "come on" Hadrian ordered softly pulling at Toms hand when he just stood looking down the elevator shaft.

Back at the disco Hermione and Elena were still trying to pry the girder when the drunk guy from before came up to them carrying a huge speaker, he pushed them out of the way and put the speaker down a bit away from the girder picked up a bent pole and put it on top of the speaker and under the girder. They all grabbed onto the pole and counted down "3..2..1..push!" Hermione shouted as they all pushed straining at the weight. "all right, all right, hold on we've got ourselves a situation here" the drunk guy exclaimed as they all stopped "we can do this!" "come on" Hermione and Elena encouraged and they all went back to their positions and pushed again and finally the girder lifted and Ron pulled himself form under it as Hermione hugged him from behind.

Robert went on ahead when he noticed Hermione a women and a man behind them helping Ron walk and they stopped when they recognised each other and Hermione ran ahead to hug her dad. " dad!" Hermione exclaimed as she ran towards him.

" it's alright, it's all right" Robert murmured to her as they hugged. That's when hermione noticed the others, Hadrian was leaning on a charred wall holding Teddy while Sev and the others (minus Tom who was looking around) were hugging Draco, and shooting worried looks at Hadrian who looked pale and was breathing a bit heavier.

Robert and Hermione carried Ron over to a room that didn't have as much rubble and debris, and set him down gently. " give me your hankie and water, sweetie" Hadrian asked as he kneeled down next to Rons leg.

" I think it's just a cut but I want to clean it anyway, okay?" Hadrian said looking at Ron. " yeah mate go ahead" Ron said through gritted teeth as Hadrian started to rip the trousers to get a better look. " Ron, thank you very much" Robert said gratitude clear in his voice as he and Hermione looked at each other.

" sir I..I didn't, she saved me" Ron softly replied as he chuckled a bit looking at Hermione.

Richard walked over to a panicking Elena who was crying and looked on the verge of a panic attack. " are you okay?" he asked " just a bad headache" Elena murmured whilst sniffing. " here finish this" Richard offered passing his water bottle over to her which she gratefully started to drink.

Meanwhile Teddy wandered off from Hadrian who was fixing up rons leg and walked over to Tom who was staring at a door pensively. Tom looked over when he caught sight of him " what are you doing?" Teddy curiously questioned staring at the door himself. "thinking, you?" Tom answered looking amused " thinking" Teddy replied copying how Tom was standing.

" what are you thinking about, exactly" Teddy said turning to look at him with eyes full of curiosity. " well im thinking that this door leads up, but also thinking what's behind it" he replied pensively. Teddy went to put his hand on the door when Tom quickly grabbed it gently " easy there fireball, watch" he said whilst getting out his water bottle and quickly spraying some onto the door as they both watched it sizzle violently.

"Teddy! Teddy, what are you doing , I told you not to wander away from me its dangerous" Hadrian scolded walking up to him with the others behind " sorry uncle Harry, but Tom thinks this is the way up" Teddy exclaimed looking chastised then excited again. " hey it's that other guy "Larry drunkenly said swaying a little bit. " hey. Yeah Robert that door is extremely hot but it's our only choice" Tom said looking at the drunk guy then he looked to Robert who went up to the door with sev.

" here what do you think?" Tom questioned handing Robert a fire extinguisher and sev a mop. "lets give it a shot" they both replied and getting into position. " im hoping it's a flash fire but this are could still be superheated" Tom queried while he and sev stood back and put the mops through the door handles as Robert stood there with the extinguisher ready. " ready? Go!" Tom shouted as they both pulled the doors open as Robert fired the extinguisher. Everything was charred and black as they all peeked to get a look.

" flash fire" Tom said smugly " good call" they both replied sending him amused looks.
