chapter 1

December 30th 2006, it's a sunny but cold winter day. A rented minivan has just left from the airport in California on it's way to the cruise terminal, they see a lot of different places on the way including a beautiful beach, 30 minutes later they arrive at the long beach cruise terminal and as they exit the car they all catch a glimpse of the cruise ship they're going to be spending 16 nights on it to the Aloha state.

" omg I can't believe were here I'm so excited, I bet the have delicious food as well" said a 6ft 1 male with natural orange short hair and sky blue eyes, he was wearing blue jeans with a white long sleeved button up shirt with a denim black jacket over the top.

" Ron do you always think with your stomach? And were all excited, Hadrian we can't thank you enough for doing this" says a 5ft 6 female with bushy curly brown hair and light brown eyes, she is wearing black jeans with rips at the knees with a pastel blue jumper as she playfully slaps her fiancé on the arm and kisses Hadrian's cheek.

" no problem Mione, my parents thought it would be nice for us all to relax and have fun we haven't seen each other properly in a while" softly said a 5ft 7 male with messy black hair that looks like it's been dragged through a bush with stunning emerald green eyes, wearing black skinny jeans with a viridian long sleeved button up shirt. Hadrian smiled at her as he adjusted his grip on his 8 year old godson who had messy blonde hair (neater than Hadrian's) and mud brown eyes wearing brown trousers and a baggy maroon jumper.

"come on kids let's get our stuff and make our way to the checking in area so we can settle in" A deep male voice said whilst collecting some of their luggage.

The three 18 year olds turned away from the cruise to collect their things excluding Hadrian who could only carry his and Teddy's backpack with teddy peacefully asleep in his arms.

" we all ready? Hadrian do you have your inhaler and medication?" two nods and a 'yes dad', "good lets go then" and they made their way over to the old fashioned looking cruise the MS Poseidon a 165,000-gross-ton luxury ocean liner of royal trident lines.

Meanwhile as they were making their way threw the cruise to their 1st class rooms a very expensive limo type car just arrived. " come on I don't want to be around crowds of dunderheads rushing around longer than I have to" drawled a tall 6ft man with shoulder length wavy black hair with dark brown almost black eyes, he was shrouded in black wearing slacks a black button up shirt and a black suit jacket.

"come now Severus, were here to have some fun and relax a little" said a smooth yet amused tall 6ft 2 handsome male with alluring ruby red eyes with short neatly styled dark brown hair wearing black slacks a navy blue business jacket with a white button shirt.

"chop chop! Sev, Lucius, Tom, Dragon we need to go and check in then settle in and get ready for dinner" a cheerful yet firm voice of a 5ft 8 women with black and blonde long wavy hair with light blue eyes wearing a beautiful ankle long wine red flowing dress with a shawl said whilst linking her arms with her husband who is 6ft with long bleach blond hair tied at the nape of his neck with an emerald ribbon with a snake sewed into it with light grey eyes wearing a black business suit with a white button up shirt, and her son who is a carbon copy of his father with short bleach blonde hair with slightly darker grey eyes wearing black skinny jeans a light grey button up shirt and a black jacket, whilst Draco whined "Mother! Don't call me that in public it's embarrassing" everyone chuckles softly at that and they make their way to Poseidon.

(time skip a few hours bought to you by Draco's perfect hair) During this time skip they depart the port.

As everyone was busy getting settled and getting ready to go to the ballroom a women was wondering around the kitchens when her friend spots her " Elena! What are you doing here? You should be in my quarters" whisper yelled a 5ft7 male with short brown hair and eyes wearing waiters clothing. " I just wanted to explore and look around I was bored and hungry" calmly said a 5ft6 female with long black hair and brown eyes, wearing a black jack with a long sleeved dark rainbow coloured top with a mid-thigh black skirt with a cross necklace.

" here take this and please stay in my rooms you can't be seen here, okay?" valentin said softly whilst handing Elena a plate of lamb with vegetables. "alright" she says grumpily and she chews on a roasted carrot.

As everyone makes their way to the ballroom and settles down at their tables the captain makes an announcement " Ladies and gentleman, girls and boys. Welcome abroad the Poseidon I hope everyone has settled in nicely, this is your captain Bradford, I hope you all have a wonderful evening and enjoy the meal. Thank you." As he finishes Hadrian and his companion's minus Robert who went to play poker (with a now awake Teddy) make their way to the table with their names on it when he see's familiar people.

"uncle Sev! Over here!" shouts Hadrian waving him over whilst setting Teddy into his chair. "uncle Harry I'm thirsty" whined Teddy pulling on Hadrian's shirt. " okay Teddy hang on a sec, is orange squash okay?" he whispered softly giving him a glass with a straw when he saw Teddy nod.

Severus and his 4 companions make their way over after getting over the initial shocks of seeing his nephew here. "hello brat" Severus replies fondly whilst giving him a hug then turning to Ron and Hermione, "Good evening Mr Weasley, Miss Ramsey how are you" he drawls shaking both of their hands.

" good evening Hadrian, Hadrian's friends" Lucius politely says whilst Draco hugs Hadrian with a quick 'hello' then goes to Teddy. Lucius turns to Tom " I believe you haven't met my companion, this is Tom Riddle, Tom this is Hadrian "who says 'hello' distractedly whilst staring at Tom, " Mr Ron Weasley and his fiancé Miss Hermione Ramsey" who politely say 'good evening whilst smirking at a blushing Hadrian 'and Hadrian's godson teddy"

"pleasure to meet you all" he says smoothly whilst subtly staring at Hadrian going over to shake Ron's and Hermione's hand then moving over to Hadrian and taking his delicate hand to kiss the top of it and slowly letting it go when Narcissa comes over. " good evening Hadrian darling how are you" she cheerfully exclaims whilst hugging him, " I'm good Aunt Cissa" Hadrian softly whispers. As they all get acquainted they realise they all sit at the same table so sit down ready to eat with Teddy, Hadrian, Tom, Ron, Hermione, Lucius, Narcissa then Draco seated around the table. They all chat amicably whilst they eat and catch up with each other. As the evening comes to a close and people start leaving to retire they all stand up and says their goodbyes whilst Hadrian picks up a barely conscious Teddy. " goodnight Uncle Sev, Lucius aunt Cissa Draco and Tom it's been a lovely evening and we'll meet you guys here for breakfast tomorrow" he says quietly as to not wake up Teddy and they all start making their way to their cabins to settle and go to sleep.
