Katsumi woke just a few moments before her alarm went off, she laid in her bed listening to the patter of rain against the roof of their house. The weather outside seem to reflect the turmoil feeling that she was sure laid burdened in Yuki's heart today, she wondered how long it had been since he had seen his mother? After so long, today he would see her again. Katsumi had spent hours mulling over how she could help him cope with all these dormant emotions once again resurfacing, before she fell asleep last night. She pulled herself out of her warm bed, and began to ready herself for the day.

She crept down the stairs, her foot-falls padded by her fluffy pink bunny slippers. The house was dark, and almost eerily silent at this time of day. Katsumi had been the first to awaken this morning, although it was planned, she still felt proud of herself for managing to actually get herself out of bed at this time. She tied back her long blonde locks into a sloppy bun, and rolled the sleeves of her school uniform- before getting to work making breakfast for everyone in the house. The breakfast she prepared consisted of fried fish, hard boiled eggs, sliced cucumbers, and oranges, and finished off with a warm bowl of miso soup. Katsumi often made traditional breakfasts back when she resided with Akito, the habit never seemed to break when she moved in with Shigure. She plated their food on the table in the living room, being sure to wrap them in saran until the rest of the house woke for the day. Heading back into the kitchen, Katsumi pulled out Yuki's bento box from the cupboard and began to make him a lunch for the day. She hoped that these little things she did for him would at least put a small smile on his face today. She shaped his onigiri into a little bunny, added celery, tomatoes, lettuce, and octopus hotdogs before writing a short note and taping it to the top.

After she finished making her own lunch, she wrapped her box into a soft pink fabric with little bunnies on it and tucked into her bag. Upstairs she could hear the quiet shuffle of her housemates rising, to begin their individual routines to start the day- of course that was her cue to leaving the house, and embark on the last of her missions for today. That was finding a pretty bouquet of flowers that she could present to him when he first arrived at school. Katsumi pulled on her pink rain coat, and retrieving her matching umbrella- before sneakily unlocking the front door, and leaving the house. Immediately upon exiting the house she was greeted by a downpour of rain, the day presenting itself as gloomy as ever. Stepping off the porch as she undid her umbrella, she immediately shielded herself from the pouring rain. The little blonde bunny made her depart from the house, making haste to quickly decent the hill as she made her way to the flower shop not far from their school. She only hoped that it was open at this time of day.
