2: nightmares

part 1 of Monday 

3rd pov

the monsters roared as they were running around in the upside down.
Billy was breathing heavily as he was hiding inside a building behind a counter right as a demodog started to sniff outside the building getting his sense slowly it came inside starting to go where Billy was.
Billy moved his hands from his mouth and sighed thinking that the demodog went away but oh boy was he wrong
next thing he knew he was pinned against the floor by the dog, he tried to push the demodog off  but it was no use "Billy" h-huh "Billy" he looked up at the demodog speaking " what the fuck..." "BILLY"
jerking up he quickly looked around seeing that he was in his bedroom, rubbing his head he looked at the door seeing max "what max" "Steve will be here soon so get ready" she said walking away.
Billy groaned as he burred his face into the pillow as the nightmares he had that night came   flooding back into his head
he stayed like that for a few minutes before getting up and changed into his normal outfit(tank top and jeans)"BILLY he's here" max said running out of the house.
 Billy yelled after her "be right there"
Billy walked out, locked and closed the door then gets into Steve's car, Billy turned to Steve and was about to talk but stops as he sees Steve had his hair in a low manbun "what the" Billy said smiling as he was trying not to laugh  as the kids were also trying not to too as Steve glared at him before starting to drive "anyone of you say anything your walking" Steve said annoyed "its comfy and its out of my way" Steve said as he drove to school.
Billy chuckled saying "it looks nice on you" as he forgot that max and el were in the back seat and he only realized what he said after 
Steve shook his head" oh I know it does, I think I kinda like this new Billy" Steve chuckled as he park where he usually parks at the school "haha don't get use to it ima be back to my old-self in no time" "yea sure' max said as she grabbed el's hand and ran off
Steve smiled "well see ya" he said as he started to walk away " where you going" Billy followed Steve for a bit " I have to help a teacher clean some stuff in a classroom, she said I could help today instead of Friday" "whatever ok well ima go have fun" Billy said before walking off into the school

after all the classes (basket ball practice)


Billy walked into the gym's locker room looking around to see if Steve was there as he wanted to know if he could still beat Steve  "hey Billy" tommy yelled from across the room 
"  hi.." Billy said looking at him "its been so long, I wonder if I can play better then you now" tommy said chuckling as he head out.
Billy shaking his head in annoyance waiting for a few seconds wondering if Steve was coming or not before heading out to play with the others 
for a few rounds into the practice Billy started playing better
"damn, thought because you stopped for a few months I would've have beaten you by now" tommy groaned quietly 
Billy grinned "hah never"  he frowned as he followed the other guys into the locker room 
Billy sighed and took a quick shower before grabbing a towel and heading back to the lockers to get dressed
"so wanna go to a party tonight" tommy says as he wraps his arm around Billy's neck "oh fuck yes,i definitely needed one since I got out" Billy grinned "hey i'll meet you at the school lockers" walking away to the gym to find the coach
"Hey coach! where's Harrington, I didn't see him at practice" he shook his head a little not even knowing why he was asking not like he cared he just wanted to know if he could still beat Steve
the coach looked up at him from his note book "hm can't tell you why but he stopped coming a few months ago already" "oh" Billy just nodded before running off to tommy to find out where this party was gonna be at.
