8:part 1 oh shut it Nancy

part 1 of Saturday 
its been almost  fours months now, Steve and Billy have been hanging out every day and skipping school here and there, in school they would stay away from each other not wanting the others to know but after school an on the weekends they would always hang out, they always told the kids that they had work , it was true tho Billy started to work at a clothing shop beside the ice-cream shop that Steve worked at so on the breaks they would talk.
Billy did find out that Steve quit the basketball team but he wouldn't tell him why he did
Steve never wanted to talk about it and Billy never pressured him to
Billy was glad for this, Steve didn't pressure him into doing anything  or tell  Steve anything he didn't want to say
they were slowly becoming the best of friends...  Billy kept thinking about how much longer it would last tho, his plan of not getting to close to Steve failed, he honestly didn't want to leave his only true friend but he also wanted to leave as soon as he could and never come back he just wanted to be far away from his father....
Billy was going back to his old self tho..an asshole to everyone else at the school but to Steve he stopped himself from being mean to him he just annoyed Tommy and his  gf about all the things they said about Steve he wanted to punch the shit out of tommy each time he spoke but stopped himself each time


Jonathan and Nancy didn't know why Steve even forgave Billy they thought that Billy shouldn't have been forgave well that's what Nancy thought, Jonathan didn't care he thought it was nice that Steve found someone to hang out with other then the kids or that asshole tommy 
he realized Steve was only liked the way he was before cause of tommy 

"maybe  i could break them apart" Nancy said out loud to Jonathan "what the fuck, why"
"Jonathan he's just gonna hurt Steve like, he's an asshole to everyone at school but ohhh the moment Steve and him are together he is so nice but glares at everyone else when Steve isn't looking" Johnathan just shook his head he wanted to say to Nancy 'why is it the moment Steve gets something happy you just want to ruin it' but he kept it in his head
Nancy honestly just wanted to keep Steve safe from Billy she didn't trust him at all from what he  did or maybe....she did want to keep Steve from happiness for what he did before...

"ughh, i hate this" Billy said grumbling to Steve who was sitting across him in the booth eating ice-cream "oh calm down it won't be that bad"  they had a math test coming up and Billy  wasn't exactly good at math well neither was Steve they both were shit at math but also ok at it 
"at least this is the last year of school right" Steve said calmly Billy smiled a little "yea I guess" 
"so where you going after" Billy looked over to Steve 
"Nancy and Johnathan wanted to hang out so yea" "ah ok"Billy hated that he was a little bit disappointed that Steve wasn't hanging out with him but whatever 
"wanna come with" Steve said pulling Billy out of his thoughts "huh,i don't know they don't like me remember" Billy laughed as he and Nancy has gotten into a small word fight a bit ago 
" alright" "your just mad your gonna be third wheeling" "yeaaa" Steve groaned laying his head 
 Billy sighed seeing his dad waiting at the ice cream shop entrance "well gotta go, have fun"
Steve just nodded and watched Billy leave
he wonder why Billy hated his father but Billy would never tell him
shaking his head he walked out of the shop to heading to the café in that small town

"hey" Steve smiled at the two finally parking at the café and getting out of their car "were you two jackasses making out or what took you two so long" Steve said in a fake angrily tone  
Nancy rolled her eyes as they walked inside 
"been awhile since we've hung out" "yea cause you're always with Billy" "....i guess i have been" Steve smiled a little 
they talked for a hour there "Steve" Nancy said as Steve looked towards her before she continue "I don't think you should hang out with Billy anymore" "what.." Steve face changed to annoyance, he heard this from Nancy, every time they hung out she would at least 3 times complain about Billy 
"Nancy, stop it" Jonathan nudged her arm with his but she just continue "he's an asshole, he is  just faking to be your friend like he does with tommy and everyone else at school, all he wants from you is a ride, as soon as he gets his own car he is gonna leave you on the side and be an asshole to you again"
Steve stay silent and just stared at her "Ok" was all he could get out while he was looking down at his food  "Nancy just stop it" Jonathan said before Nancy could say anything else
"I'm sorry... but he is an asshole to everyone else like he was before but to you. He probably just wants something from you like those other assholes..."
Before Steve could slash out at her his phone rang, picking it up, he was honestly glad someone called 
"hey, wha-...what! where are you" Steve got up and grabbed his jacket while Nancy and  Jonathan just watched his face turn from a calm to a panic face "I'll be there soon, don't go anywhere" hanging up he looked over to Johnathan" sorry but gotta run" he didn't want to look at Nancy at all, he quickly ran off  before they could say anything 

 "Nancy, just stop talking about Billy all the time just leave them be" Jonathan got up and walked off as Nancy sighed and followed after a bit
