The next morning, I chose to sleep in, because I had trouble sleeping the night before. When I finally did get up, I had to pass Caiden's room to get to the living room, where I just barely heard the TV on, I'm guessing Jamie had it turned down so Caiden could sleep. I no sooner got to the living room, before Caiden started to make noise. Jamie got up to go get Caiden, as I sat down on the couch to wake myself up, Savannah and Stuart had already left the house for work.
Before I knew it, I heard Jamie get Caiden out of bed, where before I could react, I heard Caiden begin squealing loudly. The next thing I knew, I saw a two year old come BOLTING down the hall. I didn't want him to jump on me, so I stood up, but it didn't matter, because as soon as he saw me stand, he put his head down, charged at me, and proceeded to ram head first right into my stomach, then down I went!
"Caiden, tell Mike you're sorry!" Jamie said.
"NO!" Caiden shouted, a cheeky little grin on his face.
Jamie raised her eyebrows, "Do it, you go to time out!"
Caiden simply turned around running the other way, squealing the whole time, he was quite hyper, and there was no sign of him slowing down! Jamie however thought that instead of putting him in time out, she would take him to the kitchen to get his breakfast after changing his diaper.
After a fresh diaper change and some breakfast, she sat Caiden in front of the TV to watch Paw Patrol. I tried to sit down next to Caiden, but that resulted in me getting pushed off the couch. So Jamie turned off Paw Patrol, putting Caiden in time out, which he did not like at all, crying the whole time he was there, which was maybe only 5 minutes tops, if that. The rest of the day, surprisingly went smoother as the afternoon came. Savannah and Stuart finally came home from their respective jobs, then told us we could go out to relax if we wanted, and they'd take care of Caiden while we were gone.
"You ready to go to the club, to see if we can find that guy?" Jamie asked me.
"What if we don't?" I asked.
"Remember what I said Mike, if we don't find him, we'll keep trying until we do!" Jamie told me.
Soon, we were at the club Jamie spoke of. As Jamie and I went in, she asked me what the guy looked like again, so I told her, dark hair, dark beard, about 6'4", and around 280 pounds or so. Well, the trouble with finding this guy, was there were a lot of guys there on this night, that had dark hair, but as for the rest of how I saw this guy as far as looks went, none of them matched the guy I saw. So after a few minutes, we decided to go back home. I was beginning to get frustrated, I just felt like we were never going to meet this guy.
"You didn't see the guy at all?" Jamie asked.
"Nope." I replied, "None of those guys looked like him at all."
Jamie and I decided to go back home, since we didn't get very far. Once we got back home, we put our PJ's on, then went to bed, As I began to drift off to sleep, once again, the same dream came, with the same guy. He was still sad that we hadn't met, only this time, rather than having the dream end where it normally did, it ended with this guy showing me a park. I saw a big park bench, with this bed of red and white flowers behind it. Could this be where I would finally meet this guy?
Jamie and I, would have to go find this park to find out. Hopefully, we would be on the right track!
