This volume is slightly different from the previous one as I also began to use some Korean words and phrases in the story! Here's a glossary of the second volume!

Phrases or Terms

아빠 (appa) - It's an informal way to address your dad. It means "Daddy" or "Dad".

할머니 (hal-meo-ni) - Korean word for "grandmother".

여보 (yeo-bo) - It's the equivalent of "Honey" and usually, only married people use it. When unmarried couples use it, it implies a strong relationship with the will to marry.

자기야 (ja-gi-ya) - It's an affectionate way to call your significant other.

사랑해 (sa-rang-hae) - "I love you".

아프다 (a-peu-da) - "It hurts".

생일 축하해, 환이 (saeng-il chuk-ha-hae, hwan-i) - "Happy Birthday, Hwan-ie"

Food Related

떡 (tteok) - Korean rice cakes.

고구마 (go-gu-ma) - Sweet potato.

호박죽 (ho-bak-juk) - Pumpkin porridge.

닼갈비 (dak-gal-bi) - Spicy Korean stir-fried chicken.

전 (jeon) - A traditional Korean pancake.

멸치 볶음 (myeol-chi-bokk-eum) - Stir-fried dried anchovies. It's a classic Korean banchan consisting of stir-fried dried baby anchovies smothered in a sweet and spicy-savory glaze.

계란찜 (gye-ran-jjim) - Korean steamed eggs.

응기 pot (ong-gi) - A specially crafted earthenware pot used to ferment kimchi.
