Steven and his friends were having a good time and so far they stopped for a little swim and boy were they having fun. That's when a giant pinsir came to the scene

It started storing trouble pinching and attacking everyone and everything it saw, that's when Steven and caterpee went to the rescue
Steven: go little guy!
Caterpee: you got it!
Caterpee was ready as he used stringshot as pinsir charged at him with his pincers at the ready. Caterpee blasted it and it was caught in his silk and was tossed away from the group
Steven: nice one!
Just then caterpee started to glow and change
Sorrel: he's evolving!
That's when caterpee changed and grew tough skin and dark green while retaining his green eyes. He had become a metapod
