Sonic: Wait, wait, wait... Where are the mushrooms? Why am I still on Earth? Oh, did... Oh, no! I lost my rings!
Latias: really?! Ya don't say....
Sonic: ya know where they are? Where are they?
Latias:.... San Francisco?
They all look up when they hear a heavy vehicle approaching. It's Dr. Robotnik's mobile lab
Steven: hide in there! It's been abandoned for years!
Sonic: thank you. You owe me big time for this!
He hides In the abandoned train station as robotnik comes himself
Sid: uh... can we help you?
Dr. Robotnik: (lifts his hand) Good morning, my rural chum. I'm... from the power company, investigating a blackout. (walking up some stairs) If you don't mind, I'd like to take a few readings on this porch
Steven: power outage?
Diego: no, no power outages around here
As Robotnik continues his glaring, he puts one arm behind his back and presses several buttons on his power glove. Several small drones fly out of the truck
Robotnik: I'm sorry my primitive friends, but their was a power outage at the next town a few miles where I came from
Steven: really?
Dr. Robotnik (vo): Twenty minutes ago, I tracked an energy pulse with a similar signature to the one that caused this disruption.
They start to scan their environment. Sonic, looking scared, is hiding in the shadows of the station
Misty: listen mr
Dr. Robotnik: Doctor. Dr. Robotnik. But my dentist calls me Rob
Misty: rob, I'm sure what you're here for is very serious, but it's got nothing to do with us
Robotnik: stay out girl you have no say in the matter
Misty: EXCUSE ME?!?!
In the station we see that Sonic has curled up into his ball form. He talks to himself as the drones keep scanning the environment
