Steven's eyes jolt open. He gets up and listens to outside. He then looks around his room to see latias hugging a pillow, the sabers together, brook holding sid so he didn't flip to the floor, bumpy sleeping with Elizabeth Leonard and Eve on her forehead, and Ellie hanging to the chandelier by the tail with crash and Eddie with manny snoring through his trunk
Steven: you guys hear that?
Everyone wakes up by that as they listen in
Manny: I- I don't hear anything
Steven: exactly. It's too quiet! Usually we wake up to the sound of the fans outside, meaning that their off!
They all look out the balcony to see that he was right
Diego: uh oh. This is not gonna go well for the festival
It wasn't long before everyone woke up to see the windmills off
Man: they say the winds died down because the eternal flame is gone!
Woman: the festival is ruined!
Steven and company are shocked by that remark and head to investigate and they see the mayor in the town square
Steven: mr mayor!
Oliver: Steven?
Steven: I think the eternal flame went out!
Oliver: what?! Lugia sends it to the eternal flame
Risa: does that mean he doesn't know where to send it?
Oliver: yes. And we need the eternal flame by the end of the night. Without the wind the city will run out of power
Later Steven and his friends head up to the large crystal at the top of the building, which was easy for Steven and latias since they could fly
Diego then sniffs the air
Diego: I got something!
We cut to outside the forest where a huge group of animals were stampeding as several poacher jeeps follow. One of the poacher launches a net cannon at a juvenile parasaurolophus and sends it collapsing to the ground. The mother runs back to her baby only to get caught in a rope trap pinning it to the ground gullivers travels style
Meanwhile the rest of the gang catch up to toren and his Pokémon
Diego: toren, the winds are out!
Toren: what?
Diego: and it smells a lot like smeargle ink all over it
Toren: what? But I thought it slipped off the table
Steven: then someone stole it
Everyone heads back to the tower as toren helps investigate as he shines a flashlight on invisible footprints
Steven: if we follow them, then we'll find the culprit
We then cut to Margo at the abandoned building where she turns to behind her
Margo: it's okay. I'll protect you this time
It slowly reveals the creature everyone thought was extinct
