We see thamus and khan with the recruits with thamus looking to Tembo respectfully in optimism
Thamus: now, don't let tembo's little...episode disappoint your recruits. It's clear he's not in the mood for head on combat just yet. But not to worry, tomorrow I'll speak with him before the final competition for the flag. Now, I'm going out to serve the area, all of you head to the barracks and get some sleep
Thamus leaves and tembo's friends leave, but khan blocks Tembo with his trunk
Khan: accept you farm boy
Tembo: Huh?
Khan: follow me
Khan leads Tembo into the jungle as khan had a serious face on him. The two then stop as khan chuckles and looks down
Khan: the rock pit

Elephants chained on all of their legs, their tusks cut clean off and being forced into labor in agonizing pain

Tembo looks to the rock pit again to see the elephants trumpeting and roaring in pain as the humans continuously whip them u til they bleed in pain. Tembo swore he was about to throw up
Khan: tomorrow is our last chance to win that flag. Your gonna fight, or that...that's gonna be you. Are we clear?
Tembo gulps and nods slowly too horrified to say anything
Khan: good
Khan then walks off but stops
Khan: oh! Uh, and one more thing. Your friends will be joining you. Those trunk staggers aren't worth much to me without you anyway
Khan then proceeds to walk off leaving tembo to look down to the rock pit on horror at the sight
Soon it became nightfall as a huge rainstorm swept over the training grounds. Tembo returns to the barracks to see his friends talking about his embarrassing show today
Tembo: hey guys....
They all look to him in anger and disappointment
Pinkie: it's him
The group then proceed to slide back to their separate pens leaving Tembo to walk down the hall hearing voices about what happened today
Musky: you were right big one. Your NOTHING like your brother
Tembo sighs as he heads into his pen, only to hit his head on the roof

Tembo lowers his head as he enters his own resting his head on the wall sighing in sorrow. We then see kichaa entering the scene shaking water off his body and panting as he rests in front of Tembo
