Chapter 21. Xevered Darkness

Ragna was in the streets driving the Blood Runner when he received a call from his T-phone
Ragna: Hello?
Donnie: Ragna? Where are you!?
Ragna: Remember when Raph ran out because he was pissed about his "Special Pizza?"
Donnie: Yeah?
Ragna: Well, he could be in danger so I'm out to find him.
Donnie: Alright, Be careful Ragna.
Ragna's mind: Raph, you better not be turtle soup by the time I find you.

After teaming up with Celica, Xever heads back to Shredder's lair, When he noticed a wanted poster of Ragna the Bloodedge
Xever's mind: 90 billion dollars for a bounty on Ragna's head.
Just then, a certain Murakumo Unit appeared beside Xever.
Nu-13: Destination to ally reached.
Xever: Who are you supposed to be?
Baxter: This is Nu-13, I didn't create her, but she is my new weapon, She'll be helping you deal with those Turtles.
Xever: I don't need help from a mechanized doll.
Baxter: You'll love her! Last time, the turtles had trouble taking 13 down.
Xever: Is that so? Fine, But if she turns out to be a complete failure, I'll deal with you myself.
Xever didn't like the idea of receiving help from the 13th Prime Field Device, but he had no choice.
Xever: Nu is it? Make yourself useful and find one of the turtles
Nu: Understood.
Meanwhile, Raphael was on patrol by himself.
"Can't believe that Lambda, and that stupid Professor, next time I get my hands on them." Raph said to himself.
Then Nu-13 descended from the rooftops and blocked Raphael's path.
"You again!? Don't you have other things to do?" Raph yelled.
Nu continued to stare at Raph in silence with emotionless eyes.
Raph: Oh so you're going to give the silent treatment!? Maybe I should rough you up a bit.
Nu-13: Target's hostile behavior confirmed. Murakumo unit... Activate.
A giant sword appeared from behind Nu as she began to transform.

When the dust cleared she was now in her mecha battle armor.

"Beginning Target Elimination," Nu said before she began her attack
Nu summons dozens of swords but Raph dodges all of them.
Raph throws a smoke bomb as he disappears.
Raph reappeared behind Nu as he attempts to attack her from behind, but he was grabbed by the face by the 13th Prime Field Device.
Soon she lifted him in the air and kicked him down hard on the sidewalk, knocking him unconscious.
Nu-13: Target Neutralized. Awaiting further instructions.
Xever: Guess you are useful after all.
Baxter: See? I told you!
Xever: Don't get too excited, I still don't trust that new weapon of yours.
Baxter: So what do you plan on doing with him?
Xever: We're going to be using him as bait for Ragna the Bloodedge.
Meanwhile Ragna was still trying to find Raphael when he saw a couple of foot ninjas in his way.
"Move assholes!" Ragna yelled as he sliced the Foot Ninjas.
Ragna slammed down on the brakes as he parked his Blood Runner behind the warehouse
Ragna: I'm guessing that Raph must be here.
Kokonoe: You could be right Ragna.
Ragna: Is there anything I can use for spying?
Kokonoe: I gave you some binoculars too. they're kept in the storage compartment of your Blood Runner.
Ragna looked through the storage compartment and saw some binoculars.
Ragna: That's cool. But how the hell am I going to get up there without being seen?
Kokonoe: There's also a grapple gun in your compartment too.
Ragna takes out the grapple gun from the compartment
Kokonoe: The grapple itself has an energy blade that can pierce through any material.  And the binoculars allows you to see through walls, perfect for seeing what's going on inside.
Ragna climbed the ladder onto the second floor and aimed the grapple gun at the warehouse brick wall
He fires the gun and the energy blade pierced the brick wall. It then drags him fast as he holds on. Once he got to the other side, he retracted the gun and puts it away.
Ragna then looked through his binoculars and saw Xever with Nu-13 who was dragging the unconscious hot-headed turtle as she then tossed him into a cage.
Xever: You served your purpose Nu, report back to Stockman.
Nu-13: Understood.
Ragna's Mind: Nu!? She's in the Foot clan now!? That bitch!
Ragna carefully opened the window that lead to the warehouse without being heard.
Xever: You two, watch him until I get back.
Now that Xever left this was the perfect chance for Ragna to set Raph free.
Ragna: Belial Edge!!!
Ragna dive sliced the foot ninja and knocks out the other one with a scratch from the claw of the Black Beast.
"Hey Raph wake up!" Ragna whispered loudly
Raph: Ragna! Am I glad to see you!
Ragna: Shh..! I'll get you outta there. just stand back
Raph stood back as Ragna slices the cage with Blood Scythe freeing Raph.
When Raph was about to walk out of his cage, Foot ninjas surrounded the two rebels.
Ragna: Ahh... Shit.
Xever: Well, what a surprise, Ragna the Bloodedge.
Ragna: Miss me you fish-looking prick?
"Indeed I did. As a matter of fact, you're coming with me." Xever said as he held up a wanted poster of Ragna.
Ragna grits his teeth and grips his sword after he saw the wanted poster.
Raph: Ragna, Leave Fishface to me.
Ragna: No Raph, I'm the one he's really after.
Raph: Why?
Ragna: Didn't you see the wanted poster that fish-looking prick showed us?
Raph: How much is the bounty?
Ragna: About 90 Billion.
Wow. That's a lot. Alright, he's all yours.
Raph left to take on the Foot ninjas.
Ragna: I've beaten your ass once, I'll do it again,
Xever: But this time it's going to be different.

Ragna: Bring it you Fish-looking prick.
Meanwhile Platinum woke up from her nap.
"*Yawn* That was a good nap." Sena said as he stretched
Luna: Damn straight Sena,
Platinum walks out of the alley but what they didnt notice was that Tigerclaw' was spying on them
Luna: Speaking of which, Do you think that Master Jubei could be here?
Sena: Who knows. Or maybe we might encounter Hakumen.
Tigerclaw's mind: That girl is allies with Hakumen, perhaps i could use her to draw him out.
Tigerclaw knocks her out with a chop on their shoulder, then puts a sack over her head. he then puts them over his shoulder.
Back at the fight, Xever and Ragna were exchanging blows to each other
Xever: Your strong. No wonder why Bradford had a hard time with you.
Ragna; Bradford... you mean the Azrael ripoff?
Xever: Azrael?
Ragna: Never mind that.
Ragna: Hell's Fang!!!
But Xever caught the attack and kneed him in the stomach then kicks him to a wall.
As soon as he gets up, Ragna notices Xever attacking him.
"Shit!" Ragna cussed before he blocked the attack.
Ragna: Guess you improved last time we fought.
Xever: Why don't you make this easy and turn yourself in.
"Fat chance you prick." Ragna said before he shows the back of his hand.
Xever: What do you think you're-

Ragna: Restriction 666 released... Dimensional interference field-deployed..! BlazBlue... ACTIVATE!!!
With the Azure Grimoire activated, Ragna was done holding back.
After being unconscious from his fight with his brother, Jin finally woke up,
As soon as he got up, Kraang droids appeared behind him with laser guns aimed at him.
"Hmph. How irritating." Jin scoffed as he takes out Yukianesa
The droids started firing lasers at the Hero of Ikaruga but Jin creates a pillar of ice to block the lasers
Jin: Arctic Daggers!!!
Jin creates a shockwave of icicles impaling the droids.
After the droids were dealt with Jin continued his path to find his brother.
Back again, Xever and Ragna are still going at it.
Ragna: Take this! Blood Scythe!!!
Ragna transforms his sword into a scythe and clashed with Xever.
Ragna: Seed of Tartarus!!!
Ragna attacks with the chop of his sword and then he draws his sword and unleashes a brief wave of darkness. Sending Xever into a pile of crates
"Ragna the Bloodedge, you may have won this time, But I'll be back to capture you and turn you in." Xever said before he left.
Ragna turns to Raph as they fist bump each other.
Raph: Nice job Ragna,
Ragna: Thanks. What happened to the Foot ninjas?
Raph: All taken care of.
Ragna: Now Let's get the hell out of here.
After Raph and Ragna left, Raph became amazed when he saw Ragna's vehicle.
Raph: Woah..! that's yours!?
"Yep. Kokonoe made this for me, she calls it the Blood Runner." Ragna explained as he puts the grapple gun and the binoculars in the storage compartment.
Ragna: So need a ride back home?
Raph: No thanks, I'll catch up with you later.
"Alright, see you back at the lair," Ragna said before he puts on his helmet and drove off with Blood Runner.
Raph's mind: Maybe I should've gone back with Ragna.
