"Wait! Silkwing!" Honeysplash shouted. "Yes Ma'am..?" Lilac answered. "I heard you talking about your dragonet earlier... and I was wondering if she could come over here? I don't have anyone to play with... I could if I wanted too! The other dragonets at school are just kinda mean..." Honeysplash asked, excitedly, a tad defensive."I can bring Amethyst over tomorrow ma'am.. School is off for the weekend so she can come over at any time, as long as it is okay with my master." Lilac answered quietly, curling her tail around her back talons. "Okay! Daddy will say yes. She can just come with you to work as well!. Then you won't have to drop her off somewhere else!" Honeysplash says, reassuringly, a smile curving across her face. "Of course ma'am.. I'll go ask Hornet now." Lilac says, bowing in respect. She backs away, before going over to Hornet. "Hello sir. Your dragonet, Honeysplash was wondering if I could bring my dragonet here tomorrow. Would that be alright with you?" Lilac asks. "Sure, Sure, whatever." Hornet replies dismissively, waving his talon. "Thank you sir!" Lilac says, her smile growing wider. Finally, she could make sure that her little gem would be safe. Her opinions would get her crushed, but having a hivewing friend would surely keep her safe. She hurried home to her mate and her dragonet. "Huh? Lilac?" Cyan calls out. "Cyan!" she says as she hugs her mate. "Where's my little gem?" Lilac says as a bundle of purple scales bounds over to her and throws herself into her mothers talons. "Mommy!" Amethyst cries out. "We missed you so much!" she says, burying her face into her mother's chest. Lilac giggles slightly. "I finished my practice weaving! See?!" she says, showing her mother a small pouch, tied neatly around her neck. "Wow! That's amazing darling! Alright, I need to tell Cyan something, so I need you to go over there for a while, okay gem?" Lilac says, smiling at her dragonet. "Okay! I'll go be a flamesilk!" Amethyst shouts enthusiastically, running over to her hammock and drawing out a few lengths of a golden-colored silk. "Cyan? You remember Hornet's dragonet, Honeysplash?"

"Oh yeah! She sounded sweet.", Cyan responded "Well, she wants to have a little "playdate" with Amethyst tomorrow." Lilac chuckled, remembering Honeysplash's excitedness."Oh, how cute! I hope you said yes?" Cyan cooed, "I did! I just wanted to tell you so you would know." Lilac said. "Well then! How about we take some honeydrops to the shrine to tell Amethyst?" Cyan suggested. "That sounds great! I'll go tell her we're going to the shrine now!" Lilac cheers, running over to the corner her dragonet was playing in. "Hey gem! Cyan and I were thinking about bringing some honeydrops to the wading pool, what do you think?" Lilac asks her dragonet. "Sure! I love honeydrops! TOO THE GLITTERBAZAAR!" she yells, directing the last comment to both her parents, running to the outer webs. Her father picks her up and the happy family flies down to the glitterbazaar, chatting about the best stalls as they fly. Once they reach the outer glitterbazaar, they crawl through the more tightly packed stalls until they get to the Salvation statue. "Over there!" Amethyst calls out, running to their favorite place to get honeydrops. "Hi Amberwing!" She greets the merchant. "Oh, hey there Amethyst! Oh!, and there are your parents." Amberwing says, beginning to get out honeydrops and boxes. "Just three, please." Cyan says, a friendly smile gliding across his face. "Here you are!" Amberwing says, presenting three boxes with a flourish. "Enjoy your honeydrops!" she calls out as Lilac grabs Amethyst and the family of three fly to the shrine to Clearsight. "Mommy, I'm gonna go pray to Clearsight okay? Don't wait up for me!" Amethyst calls out to her parents, smiling. She wades up to the middle of the pool. She takes a deep breath, clearing her mind of thoughts. "Clearsight, I wanted to ask you for a favor. My Mommy doesn't make a lot of money, and Daddy has to stay home to take care of me a lot. So.. would you please give Mommy more money? I want her to be happy, cause she always acts so sad. Thanks!" Amethyst says quietly. Her mother, having heard this, smiles. "Amethyst dear? We want to tell you something." Lilac calls. "Okay! What is it?" Amethyst asks curiously, having come over to them on the bank. "First, take a few bites." Cyan says sternly, handing her a honeydrop from one of the boxes. She pulls it out and takes a few huge bites. "Okay, now what did you guys want to tell me?" she says around the honey that was currently sticking her mouth shut. "My master's dragonet, Honeysplash, wants to have you come to work with me tomorrow. She wants to have a playdate. Do you want to go?" Lilac asks, a tad nervous. Amethyst brings a talon up to her chin, a thoughtful expression shown on her face. She ponders it for a few seconds before responding, "Sure! She sounded nice.! she says cheerfully. She shoves her honey drop back into her mouth. "Well! That's settled." Cyan chuckles. They enjoy the rest of the evening, eventually Amethyst gets tired., so they fly back to the family cluster. "We don't have to go-" she pauses to yawn, "-To bed." she finishes. "Okay, get in your hammock." Cyan tells her affectionately, helping her scramble into her hammock. "G'night mommy, 'night daddy." she says, eyes flickering shut. "Goodnight gem!.." Lilac whispers....

An elegant dragon in beautiful shades of purple stares at the hives. She looks down to her glowing golden wrists. A beautiful dark green dragon with some gold splashed across her scales, with two wings shaped like leaves, is looking at the dragon. She flies up to her and leans on her. "You're okay. You've got this gem." she says. "You're never gonna stop that, are you Ivy?" says the purple dragon with a teasing voice. "Never." Ivy says proudly. "I never should have told you." the purple dragon says. "Then why do you always smile when I call you gem, Amethyst?" Ivy says. "Shut up." Amethyst says laughingly. "Sequoia says it's time. That's why I came up here." Ivy says. "Okay. I'm ready." Amethyst says, brushing her snout against Ivy's. "Let's burn down the hives." she says, wicked grins spreading across both of their faces.

Amethyst woke up, panicked 'Why was I dreaming about.. burning down the hives?! Who was that?'  She thinks to herself frantically. Then she realizes she is in her hammock, having been awoken by her mother. Suddenly, she can't remember her dream. She shakes it off. She soon perks up, remembering her playdate with Honeysplash. "Come on, wash your snout." Lilac says, gently pulling Amethyst over to the dew collector, then abruptly dunking her head in. She pulls her head out, "AAH! Warn me next time Mommy!" Amethyst gasps, before coughing. "Sorry gem, but we're going to be late. I grabbed you a clementine! Your father had to go to work early, to make up for all the days he has to be at home to take care of you." Lilac says, grabbing Amethyst's pouch, shoving it into her dragonet's talons, already pulling her out of the cluster. "Okay! Coming!" Amethyst says as she grabs her butterfly toy. "Ready!" she calls as she races after Lilac. They rush down to the level of Jewel hive that Hornet lived on. "H-Hi! I'm Amethyst!" Amethyst pants to a golden-yellow hivewing, who had been standing by the entrance, awaiting the arrival of the two. "Hi Amethyst! I'm Honeysplash!" Honeysplash says, grabbing her talon lightly, leading her inside. They played the whole day, until Lilac pulled Amethyst home. They all knew it would be happening again.
