She couldn't go home right away, the train wasn't available today, she had to go back and face the other Slytherins in the house

By breakfast everyone knew what happened in the Slytherin common room, he made her sit by herself at breakfast, he was seated next to her making sure she didn't talk to Draco or Pansy
She saw they hadn't come into the Great hall yet, she wanted comfort by looking at them at least, all these eyes on her but theirs weren't

" professor?" Blaise came up to them " yes?"
" Dumbledore wants to see you in his office, now says it's urgent," he said, " stay here," He told violet and exited the Great hall
" I'm sorry," Blaise said to her, she didn't say anything, she just poked at her eggs until he walked away

She saw two figures sit in front of her, " vi?" Draco spoke, " are you ok?" Then pansy
" you two should go" she couldn't look at them " violet look at us"

" he'll be back soon once he realizes it was a lie" she still didn't look at them " then we have to talk fast," Draco said " There's nothing you can do, I knew if we got caught I'd be the one to take the blame, but I thought.... we had more time you know" she shrugged " shit, violet this is our fault" Draco reached out for her hand " we got you into this" Pansy added

At the same time, a howler came in and landed on the table in front of her, she saw her fathers handwriting and shook with fear
She looked around, she couldn't open it here,

" it's a howler" Pansy voiced, the howler flew up in front of her face and she tried to catch it before it opened itself,
As it opened she felt as if her father was right there yelling at her, eyes were in her, Draco and Pansy watched in terror as her father degraded her, calling her the same things Colin did, he said Pansy and Draco's name and everyone in the Great hall gasped as they realized

She caught the howler and her other things "you'll never see me again after this, I'm sorry for what I've caused, I shouldn't have come here" she grabbed her bag and left the Great hall

She was sitting on the train facing Colin, Serene was sat next to her, he was reading the daily prophet and Serene was reading a book and catching up on homework

" Serene why don't you get something off the trolley for us" he gave her some money and she nodded, leaving the train cart

He put the paper back up, " Rita knows" he said looking at the paper

" she knows everything" be closed it " what happened, what caused you to do something so disgusting and unworthy" he looked at her " I don't know" she played with her shaking hands " father will send you away for this" he handed her the paper

Her family refused to speak to her when she got home, she was bombarded with reporters and cameras when she got to the doorstep of her estate

She was fighting back tears and her father pulled her into the estate
She looked in the eyes but he looked away

The maid brought her dinner, breakfast, and lunch, she wasn't allowed out of her room
Serene snuck in sometimes to give her dessert, at least serene didn't hate her

She was finally allowed around her family again after a week, they sat down for dinner it was quiet, he poked at her food " mother I.." she tried to speak but her father interrupted her by talking about something at the ministry

Almost every hour another reporter came to the estate trying to get an interview with her, her father glared at her every time, he could barely look at her, none of her brothers said a word to her since she got home, and neither had her mother

She was left at the table when dessert came, she sat there in the dark poking at the apple pie
She laid her head down on the table, looking at the family pictures on the table, she cried, she hated Colin for this, she wasn't to blame

Her family hated her, apart from Serene, she can't go back to the place that made her happy and her father nor mother can look her in the eyes and see the daughter they raised, the daughter that was an expert at golf, ballet, tennis, she was a pious girl, she was the girl that was excited to go to a school for the first time, the one who was avoided by Hermione granger because she got into Slytherin, to her family she was a slut, maybe if she had gotten into Slytherin... no she doesn't regret it she's glad she met Draco and Pansy, as she sat at the table alone eating her pie she realized she was in love with them
