Chapter 5: I like him, he likes her

I walked to the bus stop, since we got out early and Neil didn't know to pick me up.

Once the bus turned the corner and pulled up in front of me, I got on.

It was pretty empty besides some old couple and one teenage girl in the back.

Like the girl, I sat closer to the back. Once i sat down, the girl looked up and spoke:

"Hey, I'm Elizabeth, but you can call me Lizzy."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Demi."

"Nice to meet you, too. Wait, you're the new girl at PASD right?" she asked.

"Yeah. I just moved here from Missouri."

"Cool! By the way, I saw you with that Noah guy. I can tell you guys like each other and all, but just saying, watch your back."

Something about this girl i just really liked, and she looked so 'punk rock'; ripped skinny jeans, a five seconds of summer shirt, converse, and bright red hair. (and i mean the color of a cherry red)

"I love your hair!" i exclaimed

"Thank you! It used to be purple but who likes purple any more?" she joked, "plus, I'm going to the 5sos concert tomorrow night, and i have backstage passes; so i want to impress Micheal." Lizzy explained. "Oh! Crap... that sounded like i was bragging sorry!"

'and she was humble too?'

"oh, no you're fine. That's so cool that you get to go to their concert. I've been dying to go to one!" i told her.

"Heyyyy..... i have an idea. I bought two tickets and my brother doesn't want to go. You should come with me!"

OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS GIRL SOOOOO FREAKING MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Really?" I played it off cool, "You don't have to take me."

"Well, I know i don't have to, but i want to." Lizzy winked

"You need to come over. I'm heading home right now, come on." I told her

"Okay." she replied right as the bus pulled up and our stop.

"We need to get off here." i said and she followed me.

"Whoah. Nice house." Lizzy stated in awe when she entered my 'house'

"Thanks, it's what I thought too when I got here." I laughed.

"So, are you going to come to the concert with me or what?"

"Uh....DUH."

"Yay!"

Right then, I felt my phone buzz, it was Noah...

Noah~ Hey, Demi, wanna hang out today like we agreed on?

Me~ Oh, sure, come over. I have a friend here but you can come.

Noah~ Okay be there in a few.

"Hey, is it okay if Noah hangs out with us?" I asked Lizzy.

"Sure."

Minutes later, the door bell rang and I ran downstairs. He must really live close.

"Hey, come on in." I welcomed him

"Thank you."

"Let's go upstairs."

"Noah, this is Lizzy, Lizzy this is Noah."

"Hi, Lizzy." Noah said with a smug look on his face.

"I know who he is." Lizzy replied clearly annoyed.

"Is everything alright?" I asked the two of them.

"Everything's fine! I'll just get going now. Thanks for inviting me over, Demi. Let me know about the concert." she told me sharply and darted out the door and downstairs.

"What was all that about?" I asked looking at Noah.

He stayed silent.

"Noah?" i complained. "You know something don't you?"

"No..."

I gave him the 'do you think I'm stupid' look and he finally opened up.

"Fine...we used to date, and she broke up with me. So, now she hates my guts."

"Well, why'd you break up?"

"I don't know, that's why I'm confused."

crap he still likes her. that's who that 'one girl' was, not me, he was just trying to make me happy.

"Oh, so you still like her?"

Please say no. please say no.

"Well yeah kind of i guess."
Like always, I like him but he likes her.

Suddenly everything went dark.
