Choji looked at (M/N) dead body, covered in the thin hospital blanket on the bed. The Akimichi grabbed the hands of his lover, and pulled it up to his cheek "Why are you so cold (M/N)?" The spikey haired male was in a deep denial, and wasn't going to come out anytime soon.

"Your usually so warm, just like the spring sun. Come on, wake up. You were always such a light sleeper, why aren't you waking up now?" He let go of the cold, lifeless arm. Softly letting it to his side, amd saw a tear on the (S/C) hand.

What was it..? Was he..crying? No, he couldn't be. Crying is for goodbyes and leaving loved ones, and he wasn't saying goodbye to (M/N).

No, no. It couldn't be, he's crying over someone who is still here, that doesn't make any sense. It isn't fair, it isn't fair, not fair, it's not fair.

Why was life doing this to him?

He didn't do anything wrong .

Neither did (M/N).

How could (M/N) do anything wrong? He was an angel that blessed this earth.

There was nothing that (M/N) could have done to make his fate end like this.

Maybe...It was Choji's fault? Maybe he did something, Choji was a klutz afterall. There was the possibility.

What would you call it? What word that was horrible and depressing enough to describe this unfortunate thing?

It wasn't an accident, accidents you can apologize and move on from. You couldn't even dare to move on from this. How could you do it? Call this an accident and move on from this?

Seeing the crimson gore surround him

The gruesome wait of the doctor, just to hear that (M/N)...wasnt coming back..

The (E/C) male wasn't a ninja, so they didn't have a whole lot of people. Just Choji, some of (M/N)'s friends, and his family.

Choji still wasn't okay with everything that was going on, he was still in shock. You would be too if you found your lover dead.

They were talking about how (M/N)'s death and how it impacted many, the Akimichi thought that was complete bullshit. If it impacted so many people, where were they?

Why weren't they here at (M/N)'s casket saying their goodbyes?

Where were they? Choji didn't know, he knew that they should be here though.

As they were burying (M/N)'s lifeless body in the ground, Choji couldn't help but smile.

Because he knew, that when he went, (M/N) would be waiting for him at the pristine, golden gates of the afterlife.
