الْمُعِيدُ
AL-MU'ID
(The Restorer)
The Reproducer, The One who brings back the creatures after death.
Allah is Al-Mu'id, The One who (on the day of resurrection) will recreate us back to life to be confronted with our actions on this earth.
From the root '-w-d which has the following classical Arabic connotations: to return to something to repeat, reproduce, to come back to restore, to renew.
"Verily, Allah has one hundred portions of mercy. From one portion the creation has been given mercy by virtue of which there is mutual love between the people and ninety nine portions are reserved for the Day of Resurrection." Source: Sahih Muslim
