المُذِلُّ
AL-MUZIL
(The Abaser)
The Dishonourer, The Humiliator, He gives esteem to whoever He willed, hence there is no one to degrade Him; And He degrades whoever He willed, hence there is no one to give Him esteem.
Allah is Al Muzil, The Dishonorer, The Disgracer, The Degrader and The Humiliator. Allah humiliates those who disbelieve or disobey him. Once a man is digraced by Allah, he will never be honoured.
The root dh-l-l which means : to be low, base, abject, paltry, to be vile, contemptible, despicable, to be inglorious, abased, humble, to be lowly, submissive, weak, to be tractable, easy, and manageable.
But upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allah humiliates – for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills. (Quran 22:18)
