Natalie pov:

"Was I too hard on him natalie?! but I thought adrien love kagami, I don't know how Ms. Dupain-cheng seduced him" He sighed.

"I'm resigning sir" I placed my resignation letter on his table.

"What!! natalie!!"

"I'm already old, so I'm going back to my hometown to spend the rest of my days in peace" I lied.

"You are not old enough, if you are tired you can take a vacation"

"Sorry sir, I don't want it, I'm just a mere assistant, you don't have to do that"

I'm tired of him. I shouldn't have let marinette to go out alone that day.

"Why is everyone leaving me, emilie, adrien and you too" he looked empty.

"Go and apologize to your son then Gabriel" I told

"I should, I slapped him, my son"

We waited at the door as adrien opened it

"Son, I'm sorry" Gabriel told as we entered into his house.

"Why are you apologizing father" He looked confused.

I'm feeling something is wrong with him.

"I'm sorry, does it hurt" gabriel indicated his cheek which has a hand mark on it

How I wish emilie was here right now.

I wanted emilie to disappear when she snatched gabriel from me, but right now I want her to mend the broken heart of her family.

I don't want love anymore, I'm too old for that, I want peace.

"What are you talking about father and can I have a day-off today, wait father" he ran inside leaving us stunned.

"W-What has happened to m-my son" we followed inside.

"Marinette, stay here for a while, I'd see off my father and natalie" he talked to the thin air

"We can watch a movie together princess, cuddling and..." He smirked

Gabriel rushed outside and took deep breaths to calm himself down.

"My s-son!! what should I-I do, I was stupid, my son is suffering natalie" he clutched his heart.

I went inside to see adrien instead of helping gabriel.

Adrien is my priority, he's suffering without doing anything wrong.

I wiped tears off my face and cleared the lump inside my throat.

It's hard to see such a loving boy who only needed a family love and care suffering and stucked in his own world.

"Adrien can you take me to the nearest hospital" I asked as he was trying to hide 'marinette'.

"Definitely natalie" He walked smiling at me.

He's an innocent child who deserves better.

I'm sorry I couldn't replace your mother and failed miserably at it. But I'll always try to make it up for it adrien.

I'll definitely find marinette. Whatever it takes.
