Chapter 16

After 4 months

Adrien's pov:

I came back home as I was tempted to take those pills.

Marinette is indeed alive.

The hospital lied that she died because they don't want to tell that marinette escaped from there, it would cause problems.

now we don't know where she is,

I'm going insane, rewinding our old times is the only thing that is giving me the hope to live.

Am I destined to be alone forever ? ?

If so I would bend that destiny if it means I could be with her.

"Natalie" I picked up my phone.

"I'll be there" I hung up my phone.

"Are you sure" I asked as natalie nodded.

We went inside the house. It was spacious and pleasant.

"Have you perhaps seen this women, we heard she's in here"

"Ohh tikki might be in garden right now"

Tikki....

"You are gorilla's boss's son" A women asked as I nodded.
[I honestly don't know what's his name is but I rewatched many times, lol]

All along she's been here

I looked inside the garden searching for certain princess.

I saw a silhouette of a women and went in that direction. There was pink and red roses at that corner, some thorns pricking me as I hissed a little but went in further.

"M-Marinette..." I looked at the women clearly from behind. Her hair nearly touching her butt but I know it's m'lady.

"Are you lost" She asked making my heart beat.

"I was but now I found my way back" I smiled. I can't stop but grin. She won't leave me. she's more beautiful than what I saw in my dreams and that bump.

Wait... a b-baby bump

"Excuse me, can you give out some way" she looked uncomfortable.

"Marinette do you know who I am" I went closer as she backed away.

Okay! calm down, I shouldn't scare her.

"I t-think you've got the...w-wrong person, I-I am tikki" she stuttered.

Am I that scary...

"I'll get going then, sorry for the intrudence" I walked back

"What happened to her" I asked gorilla's mother.

"She was found somewhere and only our home address is the only thing she had in her hands so the people who found her bought her here, after waking up she called for tikki and we thought that's her name"

"You guys didn't even thought of filing a complaint" I asked as they shaked their heads.

"Well I'm her husband, I'm taking her back"

"You can only take her if she wants to come back with you or else don't even try to touch her" gorilla's mother threatened us.

Marinette pov:

I walked out to see the same man with a women standing and talking.

I went near them as they looked at me making me uncomfortable.

I just got comfortable around my surroundings, now another trouble.

I don't remember anything, I just remembered running away from a hospital and crying at a bus stop where I fainted.

Next thing I know I woke up here and everyone was asking who I am but I just remembered a small red mouse that I kept calling tikki.

I'm just doing everything instinctively. I learned to sew sweaters easily and earned money.

"Marinette, do you want to come with me, We can live in a big city with the view of eiffel tower" He told as grand momma beat him with a stick.

"Showing off your money rich boy, I'm only tolerating you because of my baby gorilla" she beat that scary man from before. Grand momma loves baby gorilla or that's what she calls her son who's working in the city paris. She can beat up ten men at a time but a softy.

"Ouch ouch old grandma, it's hurts" He tried to escape as I giggled without realizing. He laughed too  as I went silent.

"You can beat me anytime if that makes my princess smile" he grinned as I looked embarrassed.

"Tikki, he's telling that he's your husband and the father of your baby, do you want to go with him or stay with this old grand momma and family"

I too want to stay here but that man was looking hopefully at me.

"I don't know" I mumbled.

"You can come here anytime you want, the house I live is just a few kilometers from here, don't worry marinette" He came close to me as I was speechless.

"Okay"

"If he do anything bad, tell my baby gorilla, he'll take care of it, and you snotty kid, take care of her" grandma went to take my luggage.

"Take care of yourself, come visit us too" we hugged and I went inside the car.

The ride was so long but the man said it's just few kilometers, Was he lying..??

I kept rubbing my bump to ease my nervousness.

Is he really the father of my baby and my husband..? ?

"I'll take care natalie" We went inside an apartment.

"Are you hungry" He asked as I shaked my head 'no'

"Thirsty...?"

I shaked 'no'

"Do you want anything"

"No thanks" I told as he nodded walking inside.

I feel uncomfortable yet I know that he's not a bad person and not lying.

What kind of person have I been...! !

"Marinette, are you tired..?, do you want to rest...?, we can see your old photos to recover your memory" He looked excited.

I nodded as he sat beside me not sitting too close.

"These photos were taken when you requested the cameraman to do a photoshoot at park for juleka, and this is our friend alya, nino, alix, max, nathaniel, rose, kim, mylene, ivan and this is us..." He continued to rant as I pretended to be interested so as not to hurt him.

But my hair style is kinda funny in my childhood, pig tails and all pink.

"Tomorrow I'll take you to the hospital for general check up" He told.

"Please don't take me to the hospital" I clutched a pillow

That memory of running away from a hospital while people tried to chase was so vivid, it felt like I ran away from an asylum.

"I'll be with you marinette, it's just to see if you and the baby are healthy, nothing much, trust me"

I know that but I don't want to.... still I nodded my head.

"Can we eat, you've been sitting there for hours"

True! I'm hungry

He bought a chicken soup noodle and looked at me hopefully.

What am I supposed to do!! What's with that look on his face

I ate in silence since it's so awkward knowing that I married him and all but forgot his name.
