Chapter 4:

Adrien's pov:

I entered into my office and locked the door.

That was so soo embarrassing!!

How can I snog her!

I paced in my room back and forth. Must be that wine. I should be careful from now on.

I washed my face again.

"Come in" I told as natalie entered.

"Your father wants you to check them within tonight" I groaned as I looked at the time.

I wanna go home and take a cold shower! Understand Natalie!!

I nodded as she left.

I slightly peeked through the curtain to see marinette working.

I started to work as I didn't know how time flied. But I remember my beloved father looking at me working and he walked away with the same neutral face.

I heard a knock as marinette entered looking worn out still looking beautiful.

"I completed reviewing them, I'll take my leave" She placed all the files and exited.

I am exhausted!

I groaned as I looked at the piles of files.

Marinette pov:

I entered into my office next morning with my coffee.

Last night work was still pending!

I knocked into Adrien's room as I got no response.

Should I enter?

I entered anyway to see him sleeping on his desk.

Did he just stayed here all night?

I admired him as he slept with his loosened tie and the first three buttons of his shirt are opened. I peeked through it.

He has abs!!

His jawline are sharp enough to cut diamonds.

I admired him from every angle as he started to wake up.

Compose yourself marinette

I stood in front of him as he woke up rubbing his eyes while scrunching his lips and glaring at his surrounding.

Oww...He looks so cute! I am blessed

I tried to control my grin as he did his shirt buttons and walked outside.

I waited there while trying to control my inner freaky marinette.

He entered after a few minutes with his face freshly washed and hair tousled.

Can I capture him!

"Good morning marinette"

"Marinette...Marinette" I snapped myself out of the 'seeing adrien waking up' scene and squealed a little.

"Yes, Mr. A-Agreste, I schedule you...I MEAN I came to give your schedule for today" I ranted while mentally face-palmed myself.

"Okay, thank you" He awkwardly smiled.

I hurriedly rushed outside as he stopped.

"And I'm sorry for how I behaved yesterday, it's very inappropriate of me to take advantage of you" He lowered his head.

"It's okay..." I closed the door

I think he was really under the influence of drug. But still those words gave me butterflies.

My whole day went with working and assisting adrien. And the awkward tension is overwhelming.

"Hello alya" I picked up the phone

"Girl guess what, we are going to adrien's cabin in the woods this weekend" She told as I sighed

I don't have the energy!

"I don't know if I could make it" I told

"Come on, me, nino, felix, bri, adrien are going and I planned on making my next move on nino" She told as I heard her plan.

"I don't want to make myself look like a needy girl so in the name of chilling with our friends, I'm gonna ask him to be my boyfriend, I mean I'm not naive anymore" she ranted.

"Okay marinette meet you in a few days" She hung up as I continued to finish my work.

Weekend

General pov:

Marinette sat beside her cousin who was busy distributing snacks to everyone.

"I regret giving you another chance felix" She muttered as felix ate everything as fast as he could.

He sniffed her cooking like a hungry dog this morning. Since they live next to each other, just opening felix kitchen window will bring the tasty aroma of bridgette cooking.

Mari put on her earphones and listened to random songs on her playlist.

I miss chat noir! She thought while her hands instinctively went to the thoughtful chain he gifted her.

The chain was like a miraculous jewel to her that she wore everyday and she once used the pocket knife chain to attack the guy who misbehaved.

Being a women means facing troubles everywhere

The group finally arrived the cabin inside the woods.

"I'll help you marinette" Adrien carried her bag as she gave him a thankful smile.

He swear he saw a shadow of his bugaboo.

He remember his lady actually replying back to his feelings, even though he wanted to reveal his identity and get together with her,...deep down he was afraid.

He has fallen for marinette too. If ladybug wasn't marinette then his cheating heart would cheat on both ladybug and marinette.

He was afraid what would happen if ladybug isn't his sweet princess mari like he believed to be.

But he know marinette couldn't be ladybug. He saw them together more than once. Marinette is the cute and clumsy multi mouse whereas ladybug is...well ladybug.

Absentminded adrien kept his bags with marinette and exited the room while marinette was busy being the wingman for alya and nino.

"I'll cook you guys fresh forest mushroom" Bridgette dragged rather an unwilling marinette into the small kitchen. It's not like marinette hate cooking but her cousin would get bossy everytime they cook together.
