Background info: You and Keigo used to be a couple when you were in high school and dated for two years but at the time he found another girl and left you out to dry some years later when you both are 21 you and him later reconnected over social media during the summer time and had been an item ever since almost a year later and things start to go south.
You wake up early in the morning excited to text your lover. You reflect on how strongly you feel towards him and imagine the wonderful future you guys would have together, or so you thought. At 8:36 am you text Keigo "good morning :)" 2 hours later no reply, 5 hours later still nothing 7 hours later and not a single word has been said. You're feeling very confused as to why he hadn't texted you then you continue to reflect on his behavior as of recently you've noticed that he hasn't been giving you as much attention as he used to. Recently your pet had gotten really sick and passed and he hasn't really been there for you like you had hoped, you guys hadn't called in a while and it seemed as if he wasn't putting in any more effort. Keigo doesn't text you until another two almost 3 days later at 10:30 pm he says, "Hey I wanted to talk about our relationship. I don't think things are going to work out between us I'm really busy at work and I don't get to see you much. It was unrealistic from the start and I lead you on terribly I'm sorry I wasted your time." You begin to feel a sick rumble in your stomach as your eyes tear up you text him back angrily asking him why he did this to you he said he had nothing else to say to you and you guys didn't text for a while. One day a couple weeks later he shares a song with you from an artist that you and him both enjoy and then you guys start texting every day from then. About a week later you guys both admit that you still like each other but he said he wasn't ready for a serious relationship you tell him that you completely understand and that you're willing to wait for him like the lovesick fool you are. He tells you how beautiful you are and calls you his baby bird you even make plans to visit him in the city. One time you guys had a conversation about relationships and feelings you said "I don't think it's right to tell someone you love them when you have romantic feelings for another person regardless of the fact if you love them or not because that's not fair to the person you love. " you didn't know how that quote would take affect on your life in the future. You and Keigo talk about living together and how you guys will have a beautiful garden with a pond with pink Lilly pads and frogs in love and how you'll plant all your favorite flowers and have a gazebo. You're so in love but you don't realize that you were just getting played all over again you never notice until it's too late. One morning you text Keigo and you guys talk for a bit you tell him you love him and he says "didn't you say not to tell someone you love them if you like someone else?" With a look of shock on your face you realize that he's found another. "You like someone don't you?" You reply back. "My hero friend has a sister and I've really been enjoying her company" he said. "I can't believe you yet again you disappoint me. I'm not even mad about that fact that you like her but how you played with my emotions. What even am I to you?" You text back clearly upset. Keigo says "you're my best friend." "Your best friend? I thought I was supposed to be your "baby bird" so which is it Keigo? Make up your mind." You cry angrily at how he's treated you. He then replies "I understand how it must be confusing for you to be lovers one day then just friends the next but I want to enjoy other people's presences and if you can't handle that I don't think we should talk anymore. I'm not just going to wait around for you until we can finally be together I want to enjoy other people. You have every right to call me an asshole because I realized how insensitive of me it was to be all lovely with you one day then say I just want to be friends the next." At this point you're very pissed off so you reply " You're one of the biggest assholes I've ever met and I pity the next poor girl who ever has to feel this way because of you. I know that's a really mean thing to say but I'm not sorry about it because it's the truth I mean at least you're self aware." You guys don't talk until the next day when you plan to ask him a question but he was very rude to you he said "I don't want to talk to you anymore." Frustrated with the whole ordeal you reply "In all honesty to me it sounds like you can't handle criticism that you basically asked for and that's okay sometimes we're not ready to hear things no matter how much you need to hear them. You're just as cold heated as you were when we first met and that's also okay because I'm sure you'll warm up and mature nicely in future. Just remember that I do love you and I'm always here to support you if you ever need it." He then replies "Bro I'm over us and I'm not trying to talk to you anymore I don't feel like explaining." You then say "okay Keigo sorry for all the trouble." You then tear up while deleting every picture you have of him and blocking him on everything. No matter how much you didn't want to you knew you had to do it for your own good. Three months later Keigo texted you asking for your forgiveness but you denied him and continued to move on and find better things in life.
I'm not even gonna lie guys this is loosely based around my own personal experiences with someone of course I had to change some things but the story itself I derived from one of my relationships but anyways please don't be stupid like me and don't give people second chances unless they prove to you that they or worthy of them and most certainly do not constantly forgive people when they do you wrong I know this one was long but I hope you guys enjoyed it remember you are loved and your emotions are valid <3
