I don't know how long has it been but it certainly felt like it was already more than half an hour, and while the movie was going on, I couldn't help but look at Joshua from time to time, but still made sure that he wasn't looking at my way. I felt so uneasy, now that a lot has happened on the film, the coming scenes were becoming tense, like in a not right sort of tense. If I would to describe it, sexual tension would be the closest.

And I even thought earlier that it would be a horror movie, and by that, zero romance. Well, it's not that bad if it has some romance, but this, I'm not even sure if it was okay to watch it with someone, most especially with a guy...

They started kissing. Not like the other typical 'short' kisses, but it was more like a deep kiss, and apparently, it looked like it was going in for something more deeper.

I then took a quick look at Joshua, but his eyes were still just on the screen. What's happening, really? And what caught my attention, is that I saw how his adam apple moved, up and down, looking like he was swallowing when we got nothing infront of us to eat.

I tend my eyes back on the television, and hell, they weren't still stopping.

What's worse, I didn't know what to do in this kind of situations. How would it even cross my mind to practice on what to do in this 'kind of situations' when I could never expect for this to happen.

"Uhm...", I saw from my peripheral view how he immediately faced my direction. What is this? Am I not really the only one who's starting to feel awkward here?

"Yeah...?", He asked, and I'm not sure, but he sounded as if he was nervous or something.

"You...You look like you're hungry...", I saw again how he looked back to the television. I kept my eyes straight and tried my best to just stay calm. "I'll go and get something from the kitchen."

"Y—Yes. I'll just tell you i—if you missed something.", I slowly looked at him but when I saw him looking at me, I immediately brought my face back north.

If this isn't our first awkward moment...and out of all the movies that probably exists out there, why does he have to be recommended with this kind of film.

Without blabbering any nonsense anymore, I stood up and made my way to the kitchen.

Kitchen. The kitchen is also one of the nonsense that I blabbered. But still, it's better than staying there any longer. I should buy some time here and just come back there when it doesn't feel wrong anymore.

I grabbed two glasses from the cupboard and placed it on the kitchen counter, slowly enough, so it wouldn't make any noise, I don't know why, but in this kind of atmosphere, I thought it would be better to stay quiet.

I opened the fridge and took the pitcher that contained the lemonade that I made earlier this morning. With the thought of him coming over, I absentmindedly made it, and just realized what have I been doing when I finished it all, and what I mean by all, is I asked my mom to cook him his favorite; fried chicken.

"Cool..."

He said chicken heal his heart, and for some reason, he's somewhat right.

I also placed the pitcher on the counter, but when I removed my hand from the handle, I accidentally pushed a glass off the counter onto the floor as it was behind the back of my palm and my eyes were elsewhere so I couldn't pay attention to it.

It made a loud penetrating sound. It would be normal and typical to accidentally break glasses, but it felt so foreign, like I've never heard of it before, and now that I just heard it, it triggered a big part of my mind.
