As soon as class ended and I got home, I already started preparing myself for the hang out Dokyeom suggested.

I subconsciously started, and later on, I just realized and found myself walking around my room for who knows why.

I was kind of excited— no, I was thrilled for some reason. I was looking forward to the hang out which is more likely a night out as it happened to be at night, but the other part of my mind was saying..

'No, you're excited because of Dokyeom, and like you're basically gonna spend a night with him.'

And I literally had a moment of haking my head aggressively because of that sudden super random thought.

It's not even going to be the first time, and I meet him almost everyday because of school, why would I be excited to see a face I see everyday?

Well, maybe because I'm seeing him out of school and it's not always when you get to see one of your classmate in casual clothes.

And that's basically how I just kept contradicting myself. I don't even know which one is really me, the former one that seems to satisfy me, or the latter one that spews out nonsense.

When our meeting spot was settled, my Dad drove me from home all the way downtown, and he was really cool with me going out and doing things unrelated to school. I'm actually free to do all sort of things as long as I ask for permission, if it's right, and if I'm with someone.

And this night, that someone is going to be Dokyeom who was standing near a lamppost, both his hands on his pockets while his eyes were wandering around.

When I was about three feet away from him, his attention diverted towards my direction and that was the moment when he got to see me and plaster a wide toothy smile.

"Hey!", He said and briefly brought up one of his palm as a sort of greeting.

"Oh, hi!", I returned his undying smile. "How long have you been here?"

When I saw him just standing here, he seemed like he has waited for some time. He said that we'll meet here before it's completely dark and night, and right now, the sun was just still setting.

"It hasn't been that long, maybe just a few minutes before you came."

I nodded. Well, that's a relief. I would have to feel uneasy for the rest of the night if he said otherwise.

"So.. where's our location?", I asked, and he pointed a certain spot at our right—the movie theater.

"There.. would you mind if we go watch a movie?", He looked at me with his eyebrows slightly raised.

"Oh, so that's why this is our meeting spot. I didn't even realize that we're infront of a movie theater."

"That's not entirely the reason.. I did planned on going there, at the movie theater, but in most part, this is the only spot I could think of for where we would meet.", He snickered. "It just so happened that it's right there, and I'm quite lucky."

I just chuckled along with him. "Alright then, let's go inside."

As I walked closer to where he was, that's when we started making our way to the movie theater. It thrilled me, thinking that I got to experience watching a movie at a theater with him for once, and by the time the movie ends, it's going to be all dark outside and the city lights will be more prominent.

In no time, the line we were at became short and eventually, it was our time to get tickets.

"Two tickets, please.", Dokyeom said to the lady cashier standing behind the monitor.
