Chapter two: Marinette

I do want to say before we begin, if I don't update more than twice a week, I do apologize but I'll try and upload as often as I can!!

I groaned as I plopped my head down onto my sketchbook. I was out of ideas and motivation. Nothing came to mind and I ended up giving up and decided to start on my math homework.

Math was not a particularly easy subject for me. Oh who am I kidding, I sucked at it. I didn't understand shit.

"Tiki when the hell did we learn this?!" I exclaimed as I stared wide eyed at the problems in front of me. "My guess is today Marinette." Tiki responded with an eye roll and a giggle. I sighed. There was no way in hell I was gonna finish tonight. I was about to close my book when a soft tap came from my window. I looked over and saw a pair of emerald green eyes pearling into my room. A wide smile appeared on my face as I stood up and walked to the window. I unlocked it and opened it.

"Good evening princess." Chat noir said with a bow.

A light blush appeared on my cheeks as I watched him bow and look up and wink at me.

"Good evening chaton." I responded with a curtsy. "To what do I owe a visit from chat noir?" I asked, walking back over to my desk and picking up my pencil.

"Well, I was going to stay home and do schoolwork, then realized there's other things I wanted to do, like spending time with you Mari."

"Ahh well, outta luck here because alas, I too have schoolwork." I said dramatically.

"Whatcha workin on?" He asked as he made his way over to my desk, peering over my shoulder. I shivered when I felt is warm breath on my neck. I shook my head. "Math." I replied disgustingly.

"Well you're just in luck Princess! I happen to be amazing at math!"

"Meth maybe." I whispered to myself.

"What was that?"

"Nothing! Anyways, you sure you can help me? I don't understand any of this and it's due Monday."

"I'd love to help." Chat said simply as he motioned for me to get up.

I stood up , confused. Chat sat down in my  seat and motioned for me to come sit down on his lap.

"Ummm..."I  stammered.

"Im not gonna grope you Mari. If you want my help, I have to be able to sit."

I rolled her eyes and sat down. "Lazy kitty." I muttered.

I could barely concentrate. I could feel Chat's warm breath on my neck as he showed me how to work the impossible problems. I was constantly forgetting how to do them and was guessing the answers.

"Princess this is cat-astrophic!" Chat said as he leaned back.

I rolled my eyes at the cat pun. "No puns chat."

"Hm. How about this? For every problem you get wrong, I will tell you a cat pun or joke. If you get them right, no pun shall come." He said, putting his hands on the back of his head.

I groaned at the thought of his jokes. "Fine. Let's get this on with."

I only missed a few. They were mainly at the very beginning though. I finally finished and sighed happily. "Thanks chat. It really does mean a lot."

"Of course Princess! Anytime." He was about to speak again when his miraculous beeped, signaling he had five minutes until he changed back into his civilian form. "Well, it seems I must be going."

I nodded. Then I remembered about tomorrow night. Adrien and I working on our project. Shit. "Um, chat wait."

He turned around, a slight sparkle in his eyes. "Yes Princess?"

"Well um, Monday I have a project due. And it's a partners project. And uh- I have to do it at night. So Um, is it okay if you just come visit me Sunday instead of tomorrow?" I asked, fiddling with my fingers.

"Of course Princess! I'll come see you Sunday. And if that's too long to wait, I'll see you after you after you finish, okay?"

I nodded my head and hugged chat tightly. He hugged back. I couldn't  explain it but Chat gave the best hugs. They were warm and kind. They made me feel safe.

He smelled like a mix of mint and lavender, with a small trace of cheese. Probably for his kwami. It was comforting. He was comforting.

He let go of my waist and smiled at me. "Is it too cliché to ask for a goodnight kiss?" He asked, rubbing his thumb across the palm of my hand.

I snickered and smiled back at him. "In your dreams chaton."

"I have to say, those dreams are the best ones." He said flirtatiously as he walked to the window. "Goodnight Mari. See you soon." He said as he extended his baton and flew out the window.

"Goodnight Kitty." I responded back, watching him jump rooftop to rooftop. "Goodnight."

Okay yes, I know, this is NOT very well written but I'm struggling 😀✋
